I've seen a lot of Cubase Instructional videos on UA-cam but your videos are by far the best!! The way you explain things step by step makes learning Cubase, which in my opinion is a pretty complicated DAW to learn, so much easier!! Not sure if you've done any videos on the basics of vocal recording (Will continue to look through your videos) but if you haven't I would definitely love to check out a step by step video on the best way to record vocals in Cubase 12. (Setting levels while recording, various tricks and tips on using effects and compression, how to mix vocals etc.)

How do I match the default sample tempo to the Project one? Or that's not possible?
hi Rosi, thanks for your question, here is another link to a different video talking about that, ua-cam.com/video/TPJUZPFZiik/v-deo.html. Rosi I have 7 different videos on the Sampler Track in the Navigation guide above if you dont already have it. Besides the ability to sync up individual samples, you can add LFO envelope information and sync that to the host tempo as well, ... all the best ... andrew

How did you embed Media Player into File Explorer ? Never knew you could do that
hi Jay thanks for your question, as far as I know there is no media player file explorer embed, maybe you could give me a few more details, or maybe the number on the video where you saw something, so I can relook at what you're seeing.... andrew
@@TheDigitalAudioManual I figured it out it just works by default with Cubase. In your video @11:06 you can see what i was onto about. One other thing is i never seen any presets for my sampler track like you did, how did you get all them to appear? Thanks

@@jayhatchy4413 Hi Jay, its a bummer when things dont work as expected, I know this all too well, I will look into this a little deeper to see what I can come up with. But answer a few questions for me if you will, 1st what version of cubase are you using? and 2 did you use the download assistant to download, and did you accept all the default options? let me know. andrew
A shame that it can't automatically map the root pitch of the sample.
It's therefore just a simple sampler that's part of the DAW. Like Acid's sampler track, nothing special.
I guess Backbone is the only decent sampler they have. So one would have to drag from Backbone to the sampler track?
