As a casual player, I can say that in every co op team I am the sane one and that worries me greatly. The amount of lvl 56 players that just runs through my bosses for 'fun' is insane. It's like a speedrun for them, meanwhile I'm off to the side watching the sunset and cheering them on
As an AR 56 player, no other games really interest me that much. So min-maxing my account in this game is my only source of entertainment when it comes to games. Grinding artifacts and bosses, mining all the ores, killing a lot enemies, opening all the chests in the entire map, practicing animation cancels so I could squeeze in a little more damage, building every character I have and a lot of more stuff like this is really fun to me.
Sometimes when I become too try-hard in Genshin, I'm by force putting myself back to "casuals" by skipping month or so of gameplay. When you come back, all the stuff like skipping the day or not using resign matters much less to you. Btw that's also a tip for all the folks who also suffer from hyperfocus
I stoped playing for a month and came back this week i realized i was a meta slave . I would have pulled for bennet even tho i don't like him . The game feels so good when u only pull for characters u want . (I feel like an atheist who became a christian ) XD
I feel that too. I took a month break over the summer to do other stuff and now I feel a lot less tethered to the game. I realized that even those daily primos or resin don't really matter too much since you can always start when you come back. I think I'll come back when Inazuma comes just to check it out but I probably will try to keep myself limited to exploration and only when I feel like it.

I'm at AR42, playing about 5 hours a day, and I'm constantly worrying about not having enough mora, character level/strength, I'm constantly doing the same bosses everyday and farming things that are so hard to get, that I'm getting a little burned out. Tbh I'm excited about inazuma but I don't have the energy to the quests there.

I'm a f2p collector. I farm to suffer, i roll to suffer, i play to suffer, and i dance on Mihoyo's hands everyday just to grind for the leftover primogens and def/hp artifacts. On a side note though, i do have quite the decent luck, 11 5* characters, and 3 of them are at 1C.

I actually use them for the overload? I'm ar43 but my damage's still in hundreds so I have to stick to elementals. But her E with Razor's Q really does hit hard (๑•﹏•)
I have c6 Xinyan i maxed her out she's amazing, i have c6 razor and ningguang and i don't see the hype in them 😒 at level 70 . But 4 🌟is c6 Fishel hands down though .
Technically Xinyan was my support until she started getting her cons, which made her more bearable to use when Keqing needs her non-existent crit rate TS crown
The sad part is, im that one player who pays attention to lore and also pays attention to every single one of my characthers, meaning, i level all of them up, 100 crit dmg them and friendship level them up 🙁
I switch between acting like a regular and a hardcore depending on how emotionally stable I feel every week. And one of my friends is in the "psychopath" category so playing together is quite the motivation to play for hours everyday so I don't fall behind.
Man I just started playing 2 weeks ago and it took me literally 6 days to realize artifacts exist. I went to ascend clear ruins for world lvl 2 without equipping any and that damn electric cube made me realize they exist. And yeah the video's right I played games with just as insufferably bs rng ike fgo, gfl and darkest dungeon because i'm a huge masochist but I learned from those games to not expect anything, and desire detectors are real. It's all about making the best out of the bad situation. If you have this kind mentality, the torment that genshin gives will be much, much more bearable.

@@revylyv5348 Yeah, you can be casual, you just might end up not getting very far if you skip days and don't try to get artifacts. I generally play at least a little bit every day and play for even longer on weekends. I suppose that's makes me a regular, but it's at gotten me some decent gear. But I'm still nowhere near where I need to be to do certain things in the game.

I could say I’m a hardcore gamer... I know every detail about the lore, have pretty good artifacts, beat floor 12 decently (still working on it), AR 55, and I’m literally saving for 2 characters shown in the future regions trailer that won’t be coming for years.... But I haven’t done a single day of commissions in about 2 months...
This has taught me many features that I did not know existed yet. Also the ending is going to be a rather unique nightmare if it makes you kill your sibling...

As a casual player, I can say that in every co op team I am the sane one and that worries me greatly. The amount of lvl 56 players that just runs through my bosses for 'fun' is insane. It's like a speedrun for them, meanwhile I'm off to the side watching the sunset and cheering them on
As an AR 56 player, no other games really interest me that much. So min-maxing my account in this game is my only source of entertainment when it comes to games. Grinding artifacts and bosses, mining all the ores, killing a lot enemies, opening all the chests in the entire map, practicing animation cancels so I could squeeze in a little more damage, building every character I have and a lot of more stuff like this is really fun to me.
As a AR44 player, i literally invite AR56 people to one-shot bosses and clear domains for me because see my underlevelledness is a lot

Sometimes when I become too try-hard in Genshin, I'm by force putting myself back to "casuals" by skipping month or so of gameplay. When you come back, all the stuff like skipping the day or not using resign matters much less to you. Btw that's also a tip for all the folks who also suffer from hyperfocus
I stoped playing for a month and came back this week i realized i was a meta slave . I would have pulled for bennet even tho i don't like him .

I feel that too. I took a month break over the summer to do other stuff and now I feel a lot less tethered to the game. I realized that even those daily primos or resin don't really matter too much since you can always start when you come back. I think I'll come back when Inazuma comes just to check it out but I probably will try to keep myself limited to exploration and only when I feel like it.

I was hyperfocusing on one other game like this - not skipping a day, doing EVERY QUEST and collecting EVERYTHING YOU COULD COLLECT DAILY for a year. needless to say, I now hate that game with all my heart and soul and haven't been playing for a while now. now I'm trying to not get that serious about genshin because I spent like 200€-300€ on that other game and I'd love to not go broke rn.
please everyone force yourself to skip a day or two sometimes, if you're really tired or busy or you stay up when you shouldn't stay up to "just do the commissions I need the primos" then remember, your brain will start to associate being tired, sleepy and in a shit mood to playing genshin. stay safe yall 🤪🤪

Yeah I think I'm going through a slow burn right now. I'm at AR42, playing about 5 hours a day, and I'm constantly worrying about not having enough mora, character level/strength, I'm constantly doing the same bosses everyday and farming things that are so hard to get, that I'm getting a little burned out. Tbh I'm excited about inazuma but I don't have the energy to the quests there.

I'm a f2p collector. I farm to suffer, i roll to suffer, i play to suffer, and i dance on Mihoyo's hands everyday just to grind for the leftover primogens and def/hp artifacts.
On a side note though, i do have quite the decent luck, 11 5* characters, and 3 of them are at 1C.

I switch between acting like a regular and a hardcore depending on how emotionally stable I feel every week.

Man I just started playing 2 weeks ago and it took me literally 6 days to realize artifacts exist. I went to ascend clear ruins for world lvl 2 without equipping any and that damn electric cube made me realize they exist. And yeah the video's right I played games with just as insufferably bs rng ike fgo, gfl and darkest dungeon because i'm a huge masochist but I learned from those games to not expect anything, and desire detectors are real. It's all about making the best out of the bad situation. If you have this kind mentality, the torment that genshin gives will be much, much more bearable.

@@revylyv5348 Yeah, you can be casual, you just might end up not getting very far if you skip days and don't try to get artifacts. I generally play at least a little bit every day and play for even longer on weekends. I suppose that's makes me a regular, but it's at gotten me some decent gear. But I'm still nowhere near where I need to be to do certain things in the game.

I could say I’m a hardcore gamer... I know every detail about the lore, have pretty good artifacts, beat floor 12 decently (still working on it), AR 55, and I’m literally saving for 2 characters shown in the future regions trailer that won’t be coming for years....
