Now that he is 6 months old, have you considered moving him into his nursery for naps and bedtime. Not having you right there and “smelling” the milk might help him stay asleep or get into a deeper sleep. That really helped me with my babies and it taught them to fall back asleep without nursing. The issue was me not jumping up every time they cried out or whimpered and letting them learn to comfort themselves back to sleep. It will be hard at first but totally worth it.
I was gona say the same thing about putting him in his room in his own cot, see how that works, it’s hard when they go in their own room it’s such a big step to make.
I was going to say the same, maybe both Sarah and Chris are disturbing him. I know how hard it will be though xx

Yep my little girl was exactly the same... She just wanted to comfort and when I went back to sleep...bam awake again! Just keep telling yourself it won't be forever and they are only small for such a short while... You're doing an amazing job mumma ❤️❤️❤️

Hi Sarah, you need to teach Jace how to self settle, start with his day naps and create the right environment for good quality sleep - grobag, story, dark room, in his cot, white noise etc. He will then learn to transition through sleep cycles without having to breastfeed each time he comes into light sleep. He’s waking so much during the night because he doesn’t know how to settle himself and by continuing to feed him to sleep you are creating a negative sleep association. Hope this helps and feel free to message if you need any further tips. I have two breastfed boys (3 years and 11 months) so know from experience how to get them to sleep through the night! Good luck xx

My oldest godson was a terrible sleeper. A “good” night was only getting up 4 times Lol And he wasn’t even breast fed! You’re amazing for still vlogging and for being so open about the struggle. People tend to feel like they are the only one going through a tough period because so many only post happy little snapshots.

My girls are obsessed with frozen grapes! The green ones taste the best frozen!!! If you haven't tried it TRY IT 😋 (remember to still cut them up if they're little- quite easy to cut when frozen surprisingly 😁)

Have you tried jace in his bed room at night ? It may actually help him as you not right next him (be very hard at first) ...sounds harsh but he just using you for comfort he need to get used to soothing himself to sleep he needs to be awake when he goes to proper bed ...I had 3 years of sleepless nights so totally sympathise x

I think you are doing a fabulous job, being up all night and carrying on and still being so positive, I have a 3month old who is sleeping but does wriggle through the night sometimes, which keeps me awake and when she does do this even though she's asleep I can't switch off, and I am not so happy and positive in the morning haha x

Great vlog. Sarah my sister had the same problem with him kept on waking up lot of the night and then she put him in is only room and few nights later he was going the whole night . Jace looks like really enjoy dinner tonight.

Good morning Sarah, it’s 2am here. My daughter used to keep me up 24/7 so I know exactly how you feel. That T-shirt looks sooo cute. They’re cute covers. He loves music. We just had a swan 🦢 who had 5 signets but unfortunately the mother was killed by a dog so now the father is looking after them. Jace looks absolutely gorgeous in that little outfit. My 7 month daughter hasn't slept properly since she was born and she constantly wants to breastfeed. I found that if the baby isn't in the same room as you when he sleeps it helps a lot because he can't smell you and he won't be able to tell that there is food around. Give it a try.:)

I feel for you Sarah. My youngest had night terrors until he was 3.5 years old. It was HORRIBLE. I don’t even know how I was able to function then. He’s 10 now and sleep great of course. It gets better 💜💜

The thing that my auntie did with my little cousin was she limited her meals to an hour in the morning and then tried too keep her awake for the rest of the day and it works a treat.she sleeps through from around 8 till half 7 in the morning
