- Rajya Sabha bids farewell to Chairman and Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu. PM led the farewell to Naidu in the upper house of Parliament. The Prime Minister called it an emotional moment for the house and said that Naidu's service in Rajya Sabha might be coming to an end, but his legacy will continue to guide the country forever. He even said that Naidu's every word is heard, preferred, revered and never countered. The Rajya Sabha Chairman teared up as members of the house bid him farewell. Venkaiah Naidu demits office on August 10 and his successor Jagdeep Dhankhar will take the oath of office on August 11. Watch this report to know more.

This shot of Naidu getting teary eyed was in response to Derek O Brien narrating how Naidu's mother was gored to death by a bullock when he was 1 yr old. Naidu's loss at such an early age was what brought about the tears.

If that traitor Hamid Ansari was given a 2nd term by Congis, surely Venkaiah Naidu was deserving for a 2nd term as VP. He was an asset to the Rajya Sabha and knew how to properly conduct the proceedings of the house even during the worst protesting days by the Opposition.
