I miss Nelson Racing Engines. They used to do uploads. Their Alien intake and symmetrical turbos look so good.

It is SO GOOD to hear from you again Tom Nelson!!!
    I know you are busy-
I know you don't t need the exposure-
Still hoping that we start hearing more from you again soon! You brighten a lot of peoples days more than you know!

Thanks for another great podcast! I first heard Tom on Matt Happle's podcast and he was awesome to listen to. If you get the opportunity you should have Matt Happle with Sloppy Mechanics on the podcast. He is a big influence in the diy turbo LS movement in the United States. They call him the Robbin Hood of hot rodding.

Audio was perfect this time. Great interview! I like how you kept going back for more in depth answers to your questions instead of just Letting a brief answer suffice.

Thanks for having this interview. Both Nelson and HP Academy do high level stuff that is art for many of us.

NRE is one of the one's I looked upto for High quality no nonsense performance but the Le Mans. "HALF THROTTLE" video as he is roasting the tires. One of the best responses!.

Tom needs to do a drag week event. He has been building them but we never get to see him driving them anymore.

Nelson racing engines was sort of an og of big v8 turbos on UA-cam. I remember seeing that video where he slowly shifted from 1st to 2nd to 3rd at about 40mph and rolled on the throttle and roasted the tires. Really showed the capability of those turboed big v8s.

Toms old vids in the throttle bodied mustang remain the classic UA-cam eargasm. Turn the sound up if you find them.

The pricing to build a one-of-one street car is complicated. I wonder if Pagani, Koenigsegg or Hennessy face the same challenges when they build cars? Great podcast HPA - Pantyeatr1 🏆
