When Tom speaks about how we were taught not to see color when we were younger it wasn’t to ignore the different cultures, we still studied and appreciated culture. The difference is, now kids are being taught to look at color first. It just shows how the narrative has changed and it’s sad because it’s driving a wedge between young people that does not need to be there. My dad is Japanese and would never hold hatred because Japanese Americans were rounded up and put into camps after Pearl Harbor. He served in the military and raised us to love all of our neighbors the same.
Thank you for sharing!!! When I mentioned color-blindness, I didn’t mean for it to be a critique towards Tom. It was out of desire to communicate equality based on who’s image we bear, not similarities in thought or habit. Thank you for listening 🤍
Color and culture are not the same. You can be color blind but still respect culture of other heritages. Love to all fam as long as you treat me with respect, you get respect.
I'm Swedish and I agree, USA is the greatest nation in the world. You still have more freedom than any other country allows. And I never experienced any racism in USA. Everyone I met were very polite and kind what ever their background. But I never spoke to any politicians or media people. Just common people. Might be a different story among them, because I can clearly see racism in politics and media. "If you're black you have to vote for this and can't sympathize with them. If you're black you need a black Santa or Jesus to be able to connect.".
To be fair, I'm pretty sure the colour blindness Tom and Adam shout about is things like justice, under the law, etc. We should all be equal as a whole in things like that, but obviously we all have our own culture, etc. #HOG
Something my great grandmother , she was an immigrant, she told me growing up God Almighty never makes mistakes keep that in mind . in this house everyone is equal. When you get older you'll meet many people who will judge you for your skin and not on your merits. But ignore it. Think of it like this. There's thousands of different type of trees in the world. Theyre all not the same. Their bark varies on where theyre located, type of forests. So many variables that's also like the leaves on the trees. The bark of tree is the skin on your body and the leaves are like your hair. Just because they dont look like you dont give you the right to judge them. Be better than that. And if im gone and in heaven and i hear you're being a racial pain in the arse. Ill come back to earth just to give you butt whoopin. I went completely off topic from what i was saying. @@madacres2222 I always thought she was. She hated politics and always said politicians weren't really meant to be trusted.. her and my great grandfather would literally sit me down after school and do history lessons from their own experiences and not from the school books. They'd always tell me the books were missing tons of information and what they were teaching us was garbage due to it mainly being as they would call it " half-truths or flat out falsehoods" they told what was in the history books we were learning from was going to breed hatred amongst ourselves. They swore I'd be brought up right and would learn the truth about history because life is to freaking short to have hatred brewing in your soul. They liked talking in riddles I guess. They would also say that hatred wasn't just an emotion it's was a virus that can spread from your emotions to the brain and because our emotions are a type of frequency and our frequency with nature becomes interrupted by the negativity and it can cause the body to literally fight itself because it's trying to get rid of the foreign intruder which can cause headaches, disabling body pains and could even put you 6 ft under if you don't get it under control. And now I understand what they were trying to teach me. Because it takes everything in me not to have hatred for the people who caused the lockdown and that weaponized flu bug from the depths of hell itself. Because being a really close family and very tight knit. Hatred is exactly what I feel. And that truly hurts my soul..
Fruit for thought: If someone kills a pregnant woman that person is charged with 2 murders. Yet there are no murder charges for an abortion... killing off the next generation. It's horrible no matter the reason, babies are living beings from conception & they feel pain at any stage in the womb.
Mexicans call each other "La raza", which means: "The race", referring to the Bronze Race, which is how we identify each other. And yes-the most racist people I know are Mexicans. But hey-at least we are nice to everyone! d:
I really dislike this redefinition of what color blindness used to mean. It was never about putting people in the same box, it was about not treating people differently based on the color of their skin. Everyone understood that people had different backgrounds and that we're not all exactly the same, but apparently these days you have to spell it out.
Biden can't talk but who actually trips Up the steps of the plane instead of down the steps has anyone else seen anyone trip down steps😂😂Trump for President 🇺🇸🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏
So me judging people on their character rather then the color of their skin make me “racist”? He’s not saying to not see people for who they are and ignore what makes them different than him.
I'm glad you see colour blind as not good. That slips by so many. It's sad. I grew up 'colour blind' and couldn't ask questions so as a teenager i said a lot of stupid things bc we are not the same. Thanks for your reaction
He did say news lol but news when they say in real time now, they mean news we watch everyday is weeks or more really behind but got the date that is the date on the actual date news always says every day is really behind when it's aired to all us American humans
I love your reactions but I must say I disagree with the whole not to be colorblind point. It isn’t color that determines our culture, but where we grew up and where are ancestors are from. You have all races in most countries. To deny them that culture bc of the color of their skin is not something I stand behind and i don’t think you guys do either. Then you have people, like me, who look like one race but actually have other races in their dna. For instance, I look white but I am a fourth Indonesian. Should I not have access to that culture bc my skin doesn’t match? I heard a German woman say that there really is no black, yellow, red, or white. If you look at the color palette, every skin shade shows up under brown. We are all just different shades of brown, from the palest skin to the darkest. Colors were created to cause division, so in my opinion, to combat that would be to not see color but see the human instead.
Personally I have concerns about this subject. I take ppl as they come...allow them to demonstrate their character. Do unto others is something that I try to instill in my boys daily. Logistically, consider an actual race war occurs. Wth exactly are the options cause none of em are good. 1. Do nothing & allow the destruction of you family for nothing better than the color of skin. 2. Ally with ppl whose hearts are filled with hatred in order to ensure the survival of your family while simultaneously destroying everything you've tried to instill in your family. 3. Isolate from society altogether & hope to remain secluded. These are not concerns I would have if I wasn't a father simply because my choice would be simple if I was the only consideration...doing nothing in the presence of evil is to be complicit & I've never been one to ignore what's in front of me. Seriously tho ppl, time to wake up & bring back common sense, decency & that whole live & let live thing. Sorry for the ramble btw.
4:00 Everything that woman said about color blindness was wrong and I hope people recognize the propaganda. Coloblindness does not refer to saying everyone is the same. Colorblindness is the idea espoused by Martin Luther King in his famous line about having a dream of a day when his children are judged by the content of their character rather than the color of their skin. It has absolutely nothing at all to do with culture. What's happened is that the notion that everyone should be treated equally is inconvenient for the modern left, as creating divisions between people is core to their political strategy, so they have attempted to retroactively changed colorblindness into an evil denial of people's differences and it appears this woman fell for the propaganda. And you don't need to take my word for this, you can find video of the I Have A Dream speech where it spells out precisely what colorblindness means, and it simply means not holding people in different amounts of respect due to skin color. What's happened with colorblindness is similar to what's happened with masculinity. When the left figured out that masculinity was correlated to voting Republican, suddenly "toxic masculinity" was born and shoved out into society. They've taken it to the point where the position of a man's legs when he sits can be deemed toxic. And through their redefinition of colorblindness they have managed to make people believe that the less affected you are by peoples' race, the more racist you are.
