- Everybody loves Fidget Spinners! ...but what makes them spin so well? In this video, I'll give you a look at the different parts such as the weights and the ball bearings which allow it to spin for so long.

Most of the people who hate fidget spinners hate them because of UA-camrs like N&A productions, who still does fidget spinner challenges, and kids who like to flex and talk about them.
I like them because it gives me something to focus on, I like how they look, I like the sounds they make, and because I like looking at them spin and putting my finger in it.

FYI the "rings" of a bearing are called races, i.e. inner race & outer race. Great animation of how a ball bearing works though.

Nothing new to learn here, because my Spinner broke already, so I already see the inner side with the balls.
But still funny to watch. These animations, narration and music is so well done.

This was a typically informative video. Great work. I purchased one of these toys at one point and it was a waste of money to be honest. It was only entertaining for a short while and then I became bored of it. I eventually ended up damaging the thing beyond repair when I threw it against the wall in a fit of rage I think it was, and the whole thing kinda bent, being unable to spin fluently....I ended up junking it and never buying another one again.
I don’t see the hype in these “Fidget Spinners” anymore as I don’t hear anyone talking about them or even playing with them.

I was always under the impression that when these came out, they were just a demo piece to show “new” ball bearings. “New” in the sense that the cage was a relatively recent addition to standard bearings? I think?

They are known as a "gyroscope"
Also the same reason your bike doesn't fall over whrn it gets up to speed.
It's got 2 gyroscopes, the wheels.
Wouldn't the cage add to friction? , How does the ball spin within the cage ?
Cage holes are loose, which mean the balls will bring the cage with it. The top and the bottom cap will keep the cage inside and prevent it from falling out of the spinner. There's a good chance if you take the bottom cap where the back of the cage face out, it'll fall pretty much easy.
