I was thinking, I hope this won't turn into the dogs not respecting her. But it should not be a problem, as long as the two others take care and make sure to stop the dogs when they start to become a bit pushy. Like when they were circling the table, I thought, are nobody going to tell them what is expected of them?
@@May04bwu Why? Seeing the history of this family, it doesn't look like they actually know what to do about the dogs, without being told. The dogs are still also very young and they will continue to check where the boundaries goes, who they need to respect and not. Yes it's a cute moment, but they need to be aware and keep an eye on the situation. Be ready to step in and tell the dogs off, if they become to pushy with grandma. Or teach grandma how to do it herself. I am commenting like this because everyone is like oooh how cute ♥♥♥♥, but nobody realizing this hugging was part of the problem in the first place. @@MsPhillyG She/He might just want to help you since there are a lot of mean people who will judge you differently :) I also agree with the comment, it kind of made me mad...
I think that the dogs were actually good at listening, they just weren't getting a clear message from their owners on which behaviors were unacceptable.
+quixtotic sonnet-It's actually a recurring mistake in this series. When dogs are not properly disciplined for their bad behavior and only continue to be pampered and cuddled, they are essentially being "rewarded" for that bad behavior. That's definitely how the dogs see it-they only continue to see themselves being praised by their owners, so they don't know they're doing something wrong. And Doogle and Bumble were far from mean or aggressive dogs. They were always sweethearts, they just were big babies and lacked proper discipline. Even Bumble, who like the "older sister" liked to test her boundaries more than her brother did, was still a sweetheart and just wanted love. The mouthing behaviors were made not out of aggression, but just that they wanted to play, and they were playing way too hard. (And it seems mouthing problems largely stem from puppies being taken from their mothers and their siblings too early, so perhaps Doogle and Bumble were given up at way too young of an age before they were properly and fully socialized). And when they came into contact with other dogs, it wasn't that they were being mean, they were just overwhelmed and beyond excited to see another potential playmate. So the fact that they weren't mean played a lot into why they were so easier to train. Because they always were sweet dogs, they just needed a slighter but firmer hand to guide them. A "parent" to firmly lay down the rules and instill what was or wasn't acceptable. . .
The best episodes are these, in which the owners really care about their dogs and just need to be shown how to properly care for them. Great job as always from Victoria, also those dogs are gorgeous! 😍
+Angie Orfino-Right. Doogle and Bumble were not aggressive or mean. They were pretty much overgrown puppies, so the problem just lay with babies that are growing up way too fast and way too big and the owners not quite sure how to handle two grown dogs that big. It's like a kid that has a growth spurt like that: they'll try to test their boundaries and see everything that they can be able to do and explore. But in the end, the parent still needs to be a parent and let their child know they are still the boss of things. It's similar with sweet big dogs like Doogle and Bumble: they grew a lot but they're still the kids. The ladies are the grown ups, the adults, and the kids need to still understand the adults are in charge. Because a dog/kid that calls all the shots in the house is not a happy dog/kid along with their "parents."
This is why I love Victoria's training methods. She has zero need to touch the dogs, other trainers (we all know who) seem to think that stimulating a "bite" using your hands and such will make your dog respect you as alpha, but all you're doing is making them fear you. Her methods may take more effort and patience but the results make for a more calm and balanced dog
My family only knew about the methods Cezar used before we got a dog. We noticed that she got really frustrated and aggressive when we did the whole poking and pinning down thing, but when we used body blocking and ignoring methods she started to behave. It's really important for people to understand and be able to read their dogs body language rather than just doing "alpha" stuff that is promoted. Dogs do bite and chase and jump on the "alpha" dog and they challenge their authority, but humans are food providers and cuddle givers. We're not the same and don't have the same role, and thus have to behave differently to gain different kind of respect. We are the authority that they don't want to challenge.
Different methods are effective and Cesar has saved many dogs from getting executed. He was one of the first to teach methods to the public that helped dog owners understand and even train their dogs. I was one. Just the other day I used one of his methods to help a woman walk her LARGE bull terrier without the dog pulling her around in 5 minutes.
It's unfortunate he got so popular... Also recently learned that alphas as we think of them aren't actually a thing in the natural world. Wolves only started fighting for alpha spots when we put wolves from various packs together in a sanctuary. Real wolf packs that naturally occur usually have the parents as the pack leaders. "Younger wolves do not overthrow the "alpha" to become the leader of the pack; as wolf pups grow older, they are dispersed from their parents' packs, pair off with other dispersed wolves, have pups, and thus form packs of their owns."
Absolutely love how Victoria comes up with different kinds of techniques for different kinds of owners, its not always the same and she uses and tests so many combinations for different people and their pups ! She is so awesome

Same with the whole scheduling thing and that family with 3 great danes. I just noticed Victoria actually uses her Hands more to signal to the herding dogs. That is so cool since they are much more responsive to body language since they needed to be instructed even when outside of hearing distance when out herding. I think it’s really cool to see Victoria being so knowledgeable about these individual breeds and their needs. Many dog trainers don’t bother and give every dog the same treatment as a Lab or Goldie.
People: get not one but two dogs which need much exercise because they are big working dogs Dogs: get out of control and hype each other up to be uncontrollable People: *surprised Pikachu face*
I think Grandma Betty was the happiest member of the family with the change - so happy she hands out free cuddles to the dogs that used to terrorise her. I wonder if those cuddles are on the chart... 😅
Seeing how they've exiled grandmother makes me really appreciate what a sweetheart my Rottweiler was. My Gran was terrified of him and avoided him for years. By the time she couldn't avoid him, he was about 5, and she was over 80 and partially sighted. He treated her with immense deference and gentleness right from day one. It took all of about 6 weeks for her to become besotted.
Never get two puppies at once - too hard to train two at once. Wonder if these dogs were taken from litter before 8 weeks so didn't get proper socialization. It's as if these dogs were NEVER trained as puppies. Bad mannered dogs usually are underexercised, just like these two.
I love the way Victoria works, if one day she needs a scholar, I'm willing to catch a plane to go and learn from her, she really is amazing training dogs and humans
Victoria is the wizarding Queen in the dog world when it comes to taming the wild beasts. I have learned a lot from her when it comes to training my own dogs.
I would really like if the goverment create a regulation for every petshop to open the information of the breed and give warning especially for dog who requires experience handler, like making sure these new owner have some common sense regarding the breed they choose. If every owner being educated and responsible it will safe a lot of dog from deathrow.
The owners are so wonderful. They are heartbroken over the suffering they caused and put in all the effort to fix the problem. They worked very hard and even tho they weren't happy with everything, they still listened to Victoria without question. A great example of how much better a person can do if determined and taught the right way.
This is what being a dog owner is all about. It's to draw families closer and when they're working as a team that's it! They've got it and playing with them finding fun activities it makes a whole family a whole lot happier ☺️ it's exactly the same as bonding with a child through play
I still can't get over Grandma Betty! Every time they film her she just makes me smile. There isn't a lot of old people who I feel one could look up to.
We had to OES's. They were gentle loving family members. Our male outlived his life expectancy- he lived for 14 and our female 13 years. Wonderful temperament.
I doubt they could see much in the rear view mirror with those two in the back anyway 🤣. Sorry, seriously, the guys are right - it's a legal requirement to be able to see out of both wing mirrors, but not the rear view mirror - that's just an added extra!
Victoria is actually like the strict head mistress. I think she might be better than my therapist at solving my issues. OMG, 15 likes. I'm dead, lol. Thank you. 😘
This episode is so refreshing! These owners didn't complain a bit. They were incredibly hardworking women who just weren't completely sure how to handle their dogs' behaviour. Where a lot of the other owners on this show would have moaned for the whole episode about how "not giving my dogs cuddles is abusing them emotionally!" and then proceed to do it behind Victoria's back (all the while wondering "why oh why are my dogs still misbehaving?") these ladies stepped up and did what needed to be done. They took Victoria's every word about their situation to heart and did what she asked, and then had massive success almost immediately. You can tell they really care about their dogs and that they're willing to work as hard as they need to to make sure that their dogs have the best life possible. This episode should be a lesson for everyone else who has appeared on this show. I'm so proud of this family.

She really knows how to get through to the owner and she goes to the source of the problem instead of beating around the bush and she is able to analyse people and the family dynamic super quickly.
Beautiful dogs and you can tell the owners adore them by how hard they worked to make the dogs happy and healthy. Loved this episode. ❤
all of them are really lovely, owners, grandma, doggy - Victoria Stilwell is a genius !
when the grandmother hugged Bumble 🥰🥰
I just noticed Victoria actually uses her Hands more to signal to the herding dogs. That is so cool since they are much more responsive to body language since they needed to be instructed even when outside of hearing distance when out herding.
I think it’s really cool to see Victoria being so knowledgeable about these individual breeds and their needs. Many dog trainers don’t bother and give every dog the same treatment as a Lab or Goldie.
Watching these videos makes me realize how well I've trained my dogs are and I am so proud of my babies ❤️💙
Hairy Hooligans... whoever was thinking of all these titles literally gets me CRYING 😂
The way Victoria gasped when Bumble kept walking after she told her to stay, I don't know why but it made me giggle.
I love the brass knocker they have on their front door, and how lovely is their yard in the sun to hang out in
Grandma Betty needs to be protected at all costs! Such a sweet lady ❤️
People: get not one but two dogs which need much exercise because they are big working dogs
Dogs: get out of control and hype each other up to be uncontrollable
People: *surprised Pikachu face*
Getting my snacks and sitting down to enjoy!!
I think Grandma Betty was the happiest member of the family with the change - so happy she hands out free cuddles to the dogs that used to terrorise her. I wonder if those cuddles are on the chart... 😅
I don't have a dog but I still watch it..for victoria stilwell of course..😂
Surbhi Mishra Same! Facts
@@beautifullymastered1914 cheers!! 😂
I love her bangs. She is too pretty
@@tiredcat6653 Of course !! she looks like Russian assassin
beautiful , how Victoria helped the owners to return the life and happiness into family.
I love how Victoria explains everything from a dog's view. She knows what's going on, and I live for it!
Two dogs is 3 or 4 times the work. If you can't xare for them, don't get them.
I like the episodes with the nice but overwhelmed owners. they understand that something is wrong and they work hard to change that
Granny Betty has the BEST style
The Grandma is so cute! She’s so small!
I love the way Victoria works, if one day she needs a scholar, I'm willing to catch a plane to go and learn from her, she really is amazing training dogs and humans
Awwwww when the grandma was hugging the dog is melted my heart ❣ ❤️😫😩😭😊
Victoria is the wizarding Queen in the dog world when it comes to taming the wild beasts. I have learned a lot from her when it comes to training my own dogs.
Thanks to Victoria's videos now I walk my pup, he doesn't walk me anymoree!
i feel bad for the granny, she was so scared 💔
I would really like if the goverment create a regulation for every petshop to open the information of the breed and give warning especially for dog who requires experience handler, like making sure these new owner have some common sense regarding the breed they choose. If every owner being educated and responsible it will safe a lot of dog from deathrow.
Even better, make pet shops illegal and people can get pets from shelters, rescues, or reputable breeders.
"Breaking their bad habit of molesting anyone who comes through the front door. "
I'm sorry but that just got me XD
The owners are so wonderful. They are heartbroken over the suffering they caused and put in all the effort to fix the problem. They worked very hard and even tho they weren't happy with everything, they still listened to Victoria without question. A great example of how much better a person can do if determined and taught the right way.
These beautiful dogs are just like children: they need boundaries!!!!!
can't thank trainers like Victoria enough for helping us learn to behave and understand dogs better
That women said “ Apoplexy” and most viewers said “ What “ 😂😂😂
Just went past that part
This is what being a dog owner is all about. It's to draw families closer and when they're working as a team that's it! They've got it and playing with them finding fun activities it makes a whole family a whole lot happier ☺️ it's exactly the same as bonding with a child through play
Victoria could record some screams and squeels for horror movies, lol
"Your control is a 1000% better"
Well, tbh I'm not that good in math but 0x1000 is still 0
Poor cameraman 😂 The cameramen must be very brave..
It's so cute when granny said, "Hello, dahling." to Victoria.
Every time I wanna break a diet or procrastinate now, I hear Victoria’s voice telling me “Ah ah.” 😂😂😂 I’ve watched too many of these videos
Every time Victoria uses that curtain in the car all I can think about is “WHAT ABOUT THE REAR VIEW MIRROR”
Legally (and practically) a car needs 2 backfacing mirrors.
So in this case: side mirrors.
That's how truckers and van drivers get by, too.
I was thinking the exact same thing
A rearview isn't completely necessary as lomg as you have your side mirrors
I doubt they could see much in the rear view mirror with those two in the back anyway 🤣.
Sorry, seriously, the guys are right - it's a legal requirement to be able to see out of both wing mirrors, but not the rear view mirror - that's just an added extra!
That pink hair tie on the female dog is so cute and hilarious 😂 at the same time!
Grandma Betty makes me miss my grandmas! 😭 She is so cute and stylish, she is life goals!
The granny keeps saying “darling” in her English accent and it’s adorable
Welled up when grandma got a cuddle from Bumble ❤ dogs really are a most precious gift
Victoria is actually like the strict head mistress. I think she might be better than my therapist at solving my issues.
OMG, 15 likes. I'm dead, lol. Thank you. 😘
We all need a copy of victoria in our lives
Victoria is the best in all videos. She is a real SUPERSTAR.
Tape a stick to them and you got yourself two mops
😂 This is the most funniest thing i have read.. Dog Mop....
😂 This is the most funniest thing i have read.. Dog Mop....
Good one 🤪🤪👌👌
Buble jumping around in the water was so cute! That’s one happy dog.
They look so majestic when they move, like the coming of a good omen until they bite the hell out of your arm
