To be honest, I think the same. I left the community at the end of 2022, and I said to myself that even the biggest hype this game will get because of the updates won't make me go back on this decision.
To everyone that's disappointed with this update, your expectations are way too high because of the big mods like Vs. Imposter and Mario Madness that spoil you with a shit ton of content in a single update. The team working on this game is pretty small so it's gonna take way longer to develop the game.

people really have been spoiled by big mods who have tons of people to work on them full time and get mad when 4 people cant make a full game + merch and kickstarter rewards in a few years

Like I know they cooked a lot and I was hyped a lot but my only complaint with the update is actually just the erect difficulty songs there’s only like 4 I majorly enjoy meanwhile the rest feel kinda week… but maybe I’m just seeing it wrong or they will work on changing it in the future I’m just trusting that (close to or) full release will be what I hope for.
YEAH!! I liked a majority of them but a few like blammed, the entirety of week 2 or high were kind of lacking to me chartwise or soundwise but like those are really my only complaints too

Yep, we get a lot more new and really fun songs due to the erect mode and the weekend song, and even if it took 3 years Atleast it’s closure on that the game is still updating, and we should take it as a sign the fnf creators are actually working on the game, and the fact it’s the start of so much more makes this update seem opening in the find community
I hope that they do these things: change the main menu and the story mode menu, change the backgrounds of the songs, change the sprites, add ghost tapping, health drain, add cutsceans to every week, new sprites and bakcgrounds in erect remixs, change the health bar, add some mechanics to make the songs harder, add the combo mechanic, add note splash in week 6, add the rest of erect songs(tutorial, monster, m*lf, cocoa, winter horrorland, the whole week 7 and the whole week 8), multiplayer and the last thing mobile version I know these are alot but lets hope that they do these

For me , i have played fnf since it blew up when i first started playing it at the very start of my middle school, now i am moving on to highschool. Okay now with Week 1 remixes, I headcanon that BF has listened to Daddy Dearest's albums before and may even be a fan of his because in these remixes, it seems like BF knows how the song goes in order to freestyle it. And the Erect remixes take place at the same time as the normal songs, so he can't know from having rap battled against Daddy Dearest before because it's supposed to be his first time meeting him. Which would mean that he listened to Daddy Dearest's songs and knew them fairly well before even meeting the guy.

If you're wondering why the charting is a little off is not because the devs don't know how to chart, it's because you have to play in nightmare mode, Erect difficulty it's like if you were playing the remixes in normal difficulty instead of hard.
I hope they give more value to the erect remixes, and in the next update they add dynamic camera, lights, and maybe speites for BF's solos and more, something that conveys the grandiose feeling
