I love the fact that they put this music when it’s transitioning from dusk to night. They nailed it with this song in particular. This is the song that plays in my head when I think of wildlands. The most memorable song because of when it takes place, and how good it is.
Unfortunately the entirely of broken bolivia and some of the ust and ost of wildlands that was added into breakpoint doesnt feel right like its out of place and they really shouldve added more wildlands ost to making it more fitting
Crazy to think that it has been so long. Luckily I can always boot up my old PS4 and play some wildlands like I used to. - edit - PS4 decided it wanted to be PS5 when I sent it, so I switched switched it back.
20 hours of gameplay so far, and only completed one province. It may take me months before I officially finish this game lol. I'm also playing advanced difficulty! Very challenging but fun!
Looking at the name of this track, it's surprisingly deep. It conveys how a once beautiful and peaceful place has become something that's not even a shadow of it's former self. It can also give the impression of having everything being taken away from you, leaving you alone to greave only to become something you swore to never become. Truly conveys something being broken....
Walking alone in the England's every street reminds me of this son and this game. When I play alone , even there are 3 AI teammates, I still felt so lonely and desperate.
Same here. I turned off my AI teammates on my current run, cranked the difficulty up to extreme... just to enhance that feeling of lonelieness. It takes me back to when I first played this game when I was 18, got my first job, met all my coworkers, began the nightly grind (I worked nights), played this game after work. Going through the motions. Trying to finish school.... I realized that even in a building full of coworkers, even in a house full of family, I still felt so alone. Especially during the holidays. This song and this game reminds me of that chapter in my life. I feel like it's important for me not to forget what that felt like, if that makes any sense.
Devin Stadnyk The mechanics and customization was much better in breakpoint than wildlands, but wildlands had a better atmosphere, mission, and there is life on the map unlike breakpoint where all there is are mountains then rivers/lakes then more mountains, and finally an occasional base. Plus the AI teammates and rebels keep you company while in breakpoint you’re the lone survivor
@@nigward9344 yes, but the thing that makes me keep playing is the way the menus look and feel and exploration long after you beat the game. Seeing the menus for the guns in the bottom left have become so nostalgic that breakpoint doesn't even feel like a sequel to wildlands. Just listening to the soundtrack while you go explore mines or base jump off of cliffs and mountains or just driving from an area to next is enough to send shivers down my spine.
I remember listening to this melody playing in the background in breakpoint motherland and I was like "Mmh this melody sounds familiar" I knew I listened this melody before, from wildlands
@@OG_Ricky_C bought it two or three days ago, played it for the first time and this soundtrack played in the background while i was watching the entrance of a mine. First I thought, hey it's Metro! Then I decided to not enter those tunnels. :'D

Bit late to the party but (im most likely wrong) i think its a bass. That said, i cant play it on my guitar without using at least 5 strings so im tempted to say its a guitar with an octave modifier... Or some instrument im.not aware of
Everytime this song comes up in the game, I just stop playing and sit back and look at the mountains
The amazing soundtrack mixed with the beautiful scenery makes for some real good moments
indeed. And then I take a dump on the mountains! ^_^
Me too

Rain, thunder, and lightning in the background. Perfect music to play.
They just added these tracks to Breakpoint, and it's just amazing

This is the song that you listen to when you're at a rebel camp on top of a mountain jungle type place at night
honestly this game was excellent

@@alexstam_8288 no-hudders 👍
Maybe the best of the decade excluding maybe gta 5?
@@singles3rvingjack I'd say we'll have to exclude a couple more, but this one is definitely a contender for me.

Best soundtrack in the game. I finished the game and the 2 dlcs. So underrated
Alain Johannes maestro!
Reminds me of the quiet nights in Michoacán. When I’d sit at the top of a hill looking down at he pueblo, and the lights bliming in the distance.
Wildlands > Breakpoint
hell yeah bro
*YES*
I mean, Breakpoint can be fun. But there's just something that Wildlands did *so* right that Breakpoint didn't.

This ost needs to be put in a live action video of ghost recon with one of the buchons and all the missions involved
This is an amazing game
funny all the comments comparing the sound of the song to other games/movies: add The Last of Us to the list.
Sounds like Longing, or maybe Longing sounds like this song.
Woodlands is so much better than breakpoint in every way
Some of us never really came back from Bolivia.
The first few notes bring to mind Metallicas "one" for some odd reason. 🤔 good song.
