Just started doing chin ups. Literally after every set there would be elbow pain. As soon as I followed this, and started activating my back muscles during my chinups, the elbow pain decreased SO much, nearly gone. And I'm sure in time it will be gone completely. Anyway, great advice! So effective. Cheers from Vancouver.
I noticed the difference by trial and error when trying chinups today. I always tend to go weight assisted now because of this. I noticed a big difference so will be applying this technique going forward.
3min 10sec to help with a problem that 2 different physio's have not been able to figure out in over 2 years. I am going to need A LOT of these scapular reps before I can return to chin-ups (already have mild chronic tendinopathy on both inner elbow ligament adhesion points) - but thanks, guys, I will be checking out your other posts
I started doing narrow grip chin ups everyday, and on day 4 my right elbow cracked and i felt some pain after that (not so severe) so i decided to let it rest, anyways is 4 days of rest enough?
I had the exact same problem today mate. I think I might actually just stop doing chin ups and will only do pull ups going forward. Have you figured out a way to stop this crack from happening?
@@philipmuhlenfeld4045 though i havent figured out a way yet, i would just recommend sticking to pull ups because chin ups put a lot of stress on the elbows

Thanks for the tips !! Can I still hang and stretch the arms waiting to heal golfers elbow in both arms?
Thanks. Stretcing arm muscles is also very useful to relax elbow pain
Great video - on point, deserves more views
Great video answered my question perfectly

Thank you for that comment. it is EXACTLY why we do what we do. Dr. Chris will appreciate hearing that. It means our goal is working.
