You don't need Kernel access level anti-cheat. Just get to trial a bunch of them for breaking ToS, Ubisoft has the legal grounds to do so. The rest of them will stop out of fear.

Varsity, im pretty sure on match 3 with the guy who has a variation of the bullet hack is using the enemy bullets instead of his, cause when he goes to end the last two people the Valkries bullets went down despite her seen not shooting, an they went DOWN like near instantly cause it was like 2 per shot
One thing I have noticed is that sometimes there is a cheater with a couple mates and he has his screenshare on in Discord so that when he dies, his mates can look at his screenshare and they all essentially have ESP.
6:00 They have a Valorant-level anticheat. The whole "kernel-level anticheat" scare was silly. Battleye, EAC, etc all run kernel-level. It's why a lot of times you're forced to restart to install the games. Battleye records everything pushed to RAM and reports it semi-anonymized. I say semi, because even though it auto-removes PII or attempts to, it's remarkably easy for a novice dev to work around it and restore the info. Info including session IDs on webpages, keystrokes, etc. And they capture ALL of it. The thing Valorant's anticheat did is it's forced to run before startup, so no other programs can modify it ("trainers" for anticheats work like this) before it runs. The anticheat software is more resillient to outside attacks, but the privacy concern isn't any less with EAC/Battleye. It's actually moreso, because Vanguard doesn't auto-report like the other two. EAC/Battleye know everything you type when the games are open, and EAC (I don't know about Battleye on this) grabs RAM snapshots when they're not for risk assessment. The idea is if you use things like Cheat Engine at all, you probably hack in multiplayer games too. It's dumb, but I mean, it's EAC. They're all malware, just people balked at Vanguard being always-on while EAC is just on most of the time and checking in when it's off. Anyway, fun video, but the idea they don't have a kernel-level anticheat on R6S is silly. The problem is their anticheat can be "trained" by paid cheats.
Ubi shouldn't ban cheaters, just put them all in the same lobby. I mean, just watching one cheater going against another is fun af, not to mention accusing each other, 5 vs 5 cheaters, boy, that's the match of the day. Just give them the same medicine they are administering to others. Trust me, it won't take long before they give up.

Today just before the new update was out i was in standard and there was a ash that no one could kill I mean our pings were ok and we had no packet loss but in kill cams when ash was killing us it showed that we were hitting the walls like she was not there to be shot at
I had a Gridlock accuse our top player of cheating despite her having 17 kills and wallbanging with no pings. Cheating and cheaters will always be around and will always be the dumbest people around 😂

Here’s three best way to deter people from cheating. First order of business would be to make the game itself half off……but there’s a catch, I. Order to make an account, you’ll need to pay the other half to create an account. It’s a one time fee to create the account but as long as you don’t do anything to get your account permanently banned, you won’t have to worry, and if you have an account before this was instituted, you won’t have to pay. But if you get perma banned, and you want to to create a new account, you’ll have to pay to create a new account. I truly feel like this is the best course of action to deal with cheaters and act as a strong deterrent against it
One way to spot a hacker is account age to operators owned ratio, for example I’ve been in games with people who have 2 hours of game time but have all the operators. Also he’s not cheating he just has a good gaming chair
I wholeheartedly disagree with the anticheat sentiment. I understand concerns for privacy, but I don't think they would risk a scandal like that and ruin their reputation. I am absolutely on board with having Valorant level Anti-cheat if it means I can have fun with this game. An alternative that I'm annoyed that everyone seemed to have forgotten was the AI Anticheat which has a 99% accuracy and doesn't involve any rootkit access to your computer. I'm sure it's not ready yet, but I hope Ubi moves to that anticheat as soon as it's ready because BattleEye does not work at all and hasn't worked for quite some time.

Kernel level cheaps reduce the number of cheats, not block it. Usually anyone who is good enough to properly by pass kernal level anti cheat will avoid blatant hacks for the most part. All you would do is maybe decrease the number of overall cheaters by 60-70%, but massivly increase the number of players that will do their best that they are hiding it.
Don't spread misinformations, you don't need kernel anticheat for this, this could be fixed serverside by ubisoft, easily. The server can check a lot of things, airtime, bullet penetration validation, and the list goes on and on
And streaming cheats compared to having the files on the computer does not matter, in both of these cases, the cheat gets loaded into the game's memory one way or another (if it's internal, which this one is.)

Wake up, that's nowhere near enough for the sophisticated hacks we're seeing today, People are getting super inventive with their cheats, and server-side can't handle all of it. surprised there isnt cheats yet that puts the hacker on the opponents team to sabotage. IK sometimes when I continue to queue with team. the next match it puts us on separate teams. and I feel the hackers could abuse that somehow.
