I am having some difficulty finding these larger sizes on your store since you have them organized by OTA, none of the TS-Optics ones listed are similar to the "TS-Optics 8" f/5 UNC Newtonian" I have. Is there a way to filter by size only? I'm not finding it.
@@DeepSkyDad I don't have a caliper that can go that big... But I come up with 238mm outside diameter of the metal ring on the front of the tube. And the outside of the carbon tube is about 233.
@@KurtVW I would attach it to the ring, like in case of my newton. Here is link to the flap for 238mm diameter (with +/-1mm margin of error): shop.deepskydad.com/product/ts-optics-8-f-5-unc-newtonian-flap-panel-fp1/
in case you were wondering, these panels are AMAZING. I own TWO and would buy TWO more if I need to.
Nice addition to an already extensive range of panels..does the new firmware work for existing panels too..?
Yes, it works for all panels
Excellent!👍Will you be designing & producing flat panels for 250mm, 275mm & 300mm telescopes?
yes we are developing larger flaps, but different design, stay tuned! :)
Does the TS-Optics 8" f/5 UNC Newtonian Flap Panel (FP1) works with Skywatcher 8" f/4?
Let me know the diameter of the front of the tube :)
@@pavlini0 more or less 24cm (23.875cm)
@@nonfacciofoto Here is link (239mm tube diameter): shop.deepskydad.com/product/skywatcher-8-f-4-flap-panel-fp1/
Will this size eventually be made to fit on the visor of a Celestron Edge HD 800?
We can adapt the compression ring, are there any special mounting points on the visor?

@@KurtVW can you measure outer diameter of the front of the tube? And we can add it in the shop
