When I saw the comment about washing and blow drying bees in the description of one of our photos on wikimedia I was skeptical, but impressed with how clean the bee looked. This is astounding. Great photos!
Questions: What kind of jewels are ideal? And which is the best measure for that jewels? Can I make this with fresh material? Maybe do you know some process for eliminate fungus from an entomological box? I have some bees with fungus on my collection :'( Nice pictures! Thanks.
Just the regular rhinestones at big box art stores....be sure the colors you use are very easy to tell apart. Fungus = moisture. The specimens may not have been completely dry and put into a very tight box or you may be in a humid area with no airconditioning. So, best to keep the specimens in an airconditioned space.
