To tell you the truth, it's influenced by the industry, & public opinion. It's really 90% of celebrities are stupid with 💰. I'm starting to wonder why we look up to celebrities at all. Think about all the famous people that's worth..let's say, 10 mil or more. They probably have at least eight, nine, ten, cars. A mansion or two: With 1 or 2 children. Why do you need 6 bedrooms? 5 fucking bathrooms. Most celebs don't house alot of family members, unless they are immediate Of course you won't go the Redman route, as far as the normalcy of the house. Plus, you can always sell your mansion if you started to go broke. However. Why is a gigantic house necessary when you are hardly home? (IMAGE) Most rich people are stupid and frivolous with their money. Some of them just get boat loads more of it. Even if you make great investments. Even if you save alot. Entertainers buy things that are considered ridiculously overpriced to common folks like us. Spending half a million dollars on a watch, or chain! CRAZY! Spending half a million dollars on a car. Even if I had 10s of MILLIONS of dollars. I would think back when I was broke. Half a mil would set some people up for life. Really live pretty good 2. Depending on your sentiments of certain material things..All the glitz and glamour expense is stupid. Some celebs have suits that are worth some people's annual salary. You would think they'd open up more opportunities or doors for the less fortunate. Those charities seem superficial. Back to my point. Rappers have more consumer pressure/judgement than other genres. By being a part of black culture, rappers have to prove their selves time and time again. Whether it's proving your enemies that you're tougher than them. Portraying this "I'm richer, cooler, stronger, braver, more attractive, flashier, and better, persona. Rock & Roll stars don't have to be subject to judgement because they're not rockin' a $100,000 diamond chain. They accept you for your talent, not Versace shirt. Not because you've been shot 12 times. Not because you sold dope. Or went to prison. Or murdered somebody.
You could be the most talented rapper in the world but if you don't have the jewelry, women, the cars, expensive threads, style, street cred, Etc. Etc. You will either be irrelevant, or TALIB KWELI!! Or Mos Def! If you're conscious like they are, you will be overlooked & underrated. You can't win. They (Media) hem rappers up for their lyrics. I have never seen them interrogate any Heavy Metal band. Or Rock & Roll.

Not only the high expenses, but somebody around him should’ve informed about taxes and how to write off all of that jewelry, cars, clothes as business expenses. Not to mention that rent, somebody could’ve also said “Instead of renting this out why don’t you you buy it?”

Honestly, schools education is based on the money being paid in property taxes. A lot of people who live in certain aren’t paying taxes because they are renting and not owning property and living in low income areas. Therefore, they aren’t teaching financial literacy classes like they are in schools in higher income areas. Plus the parents in high income areas are no joke. They go to school meetings and so forth.
Schools aren’t meant to produce financially literate people. It’s designed to produce workers. You have to go to private schools to get a targeted education.
We had too much examples in history for everyone and even him to learn from.

Nope, there is a hold on large financial transactions. Most people don't understand that.because they are depositing that much money regularly. I had a friend close a bank account and transferred $50k to his new bank. Even though the money was sent as a wire transaction from one bank to the other they held his money for 45 days before he could access it. It's part of regulatory practices to limit money laundering.
