Mother’s and grandmothers are really the rock of the family. The foundation to everything the children becomes...
It takes a toll on the younger ones. And sometimes it’s sad cus they get lost without them and tend to break down...
But always trust in god. You’ll always get thru

The saddest we don't know the time that mum or mothers will be taken from us. What I have seen in this short script mcripr was teaching her children how to give thanks to God for what He has given for the day. She showed her children the important of eating together and doing things together in a family.
I treasured this script it short but the message is very important. To reach out to ur culture there are people in there they have good qualities in life to give a hint of how u can cope with this kind of problem.
    😂😂Love it💕💕💕💕💕💕

I’m Maori and Samoan but born and raise in NZ until I met my Aunty who came from Samoa and introduce herself to me and she always makes yummy Samoan food like coconut cream with kumara. Until she past away from a heart attack. I always remember her

    A beautiful film with meaning.
We all lose that special person in our lives for which we must adjust to, not saying its any easier but for every moment without that person you realise how truly valuable they are, remembering the moment in life you shared. Love and Cherish your loved ones.

We learn from the love our parents that its better to cook food than spending it on take a ways I can so relate to this, once you have learned all the things that value in your family it's your turn to keep it going this is what I will miss once my parents/nana/papa pass on this is why aiga is so important to Pacific families this is the start of where you learn everything love this film so beautiful xo

This film really gets me to cause my godfather who is like a second father to me passed away, I was an emotional wreck. He was always telling me to focus in school, look after my bros and that's what I had to try and do, look after my 3 brothers and put them before me. This took a toll on me mentally, spiritually and physically but I will do right by him.

This short film brought tears to my eyes for sure. Although I'm half Samoan, I was raised in east Texas not the islands. Because I was adopted by a white family who raised me in a good home, I don't know too much about what it truly means to have Samoan blood coursing through my veins. Even so, I cried maybe more for myself than these kids losing their mom. Who knows?

Indeed our mothers are the core to all families. Its ashame that when we do lose our loved ones, apart of us dies too which is the culture that we thought was embarrasing infront of others. But when the time comes, we do know the blessings our mothers bestowed onto us, its just findinv the confidence to accepting that we are unique and we will make it regardless if we are fluent or not
Embrave the love from all your loved ones, its amazing what teachings they leave with you even though we may not see it. Alofaaga❤

In Chuukese we have a word called “ainang”. It means like a clan/family that you belong to. I believe “aiga” means the same thing as “ainang”. Also we have a word called “manaman” which means like a supernatural power. I believe it has the same meaning as “mana”. Also when we are passing through people, we bow/crouch down slightly while saying “tirow” (like saying “excuse me”; being respectful). I believe this is the same meaning as “tulou”. Just some things that I’ve noticed.

Damn this hits hard. I lost my mum at 9. It’s hard adjusting to reality when the main person that gave you everything leaves this earth. There’s no pain greater than losing a parent.

Vena Von Koppel Sorry about your mom but there is a greater pain, it’s a parent losing a child. It’s unnatural.

@@mcsuchnsuch Don't compare, they're both painful to adjust too. Different experiences for different types of people.

@@mcsuchnsuch No I'm not, I'm just saying it's kind of rude to compare loss from different types of people. You should help them instead.
