- One month after Brittany Cartwright filed to legally end their marriage, the 'Vanderpump Rules' alum agreed in court documents to give his estranged wife full legal and physical custody of their 3 year old son Cruz. Brittany, 35, first announced her breakup from Jax, 45, in February, sharing that they were "taking time apart" as she moved into another home to "take some space for the sake" of her mental health.

Atleast he is being honest and saying I never was a full time dad let alone getting half custody ‼️And he knows the mom is the one that does everything for that child ‼️I actually respect him for not faking the funk 🤦🏽♀️😂
Honest? He’s a loser. He made a child and now he couldn’t care less. He’ll probably only see his child every other weekend. If that.
He doesn’t want rear the kid . Easy way of saying I don’t want responsibility. That’s not being honest he’s doesn’t want to be a father.

Full custody? This is so sad. He just abandoned his son. Co-parenting my tush. He’ll probably only meet his son every other weekend. He didn’t even bother seeking part custody

Why should he? This should be more normalized. I hate seeing fathers “fight for custody” just so they can look better to everyone around them, but then turn around and dump the kids at grandmas every weekend or never actually utilize the custody they fought so hard for. MOST fathers only fight custody so they can pay less child support. I’m glad he’s not doing it and is being honest about who will actually mostly parent that child
He’ll still pay child support, but this way if she wants to move out of state he can’t stop her. He’ll just have no SCHEDULED visitation. I’m sure he’ll still see the baby when he wants, she said they were co-parenting. I’m sure he’ll seldom visit, he’ll be too busy with babes

Gerald - I'm sorry you're in such pain. I understand that type of heartache. I never thought I would get over my ex, but I'm now in a better place emotionally and it doesn't hurt like it used to. I hope you're able to work things out with her...but if this helps at all with your healing - I noticed when I would think about him, of course it was just me missing the "good times". He is not a bad person, but I realized I needed to take a hard look at why the relationship wasn't working and didn't work no matter how hard I tried. It's not easy, but through my healing there is one thing I know for sure: if I have to beg or convince someone to be with me, that person is not right for me.
