I clean my AC filter every 3 months. Its takes only few minutes. I've used the same falimngo ac pro few months back with the same method because my mind also rejected the procedure available on youtube. But be careful while spraying directly on the fan because motor wires are also there and it can mess with your wires if your not lucky. It happened!
