That is really cute. Have you ever used some wax paper to help to glue down intricate items like your metal corner or lace? I find it keeps it clean and don’t get your fingers all gummy. Just lay your item down where you want it, add a piece of wax paper on top and then lay you hand to add pressure until it is attached. It has helped me tremendously to keep my projects and my hands clean.
Hey, I’m an old school craft nerd. I don’t mind getting glue on my fingers...in fact, I love it! I use the paper towel to stop the lace and embellishments from grabbing on to my tacky fingers. Great tip and will probably be helpful to many. TFS!!

🤣🤣I don’t know if you remember the old trick of smearing your prints with glue and peeling them off! I still do that from time to time...probably shouldn’t admit that in public🤣🤣. But there are certain things about glue and tape that I just ❤️!

What?!? I longer have to pay $$$ for a decorative notebook when, for just a few dollars, I could make something so nice? The stores have so many different paper prints or I could make my own designs. I have got to do this. I started making your journal cover for one of these tablets and I messed it up. My fault, certainly not your instructions!! But I still have the tablet, so this will be a quick save for me. I can cut the corner pieces on my Cricut to avoid bulk and I have lots of papers in my stash. (Helps to go through the stash and remind yourself of what's there!!) No lace for me, but I'll find something!! Thanks for sharing. Love your videos!!

I watched the Skinny Pad video 1st cuz that's what came up on my phone & then came & watched this one. lol I Love Both Videos!! 1 thing I noticed about the $Tree Writing Tablets, is that they Don't have that Red Line going down on the Left Side of the pages, Love that!! I gotta get some of these Pads. Definitely wanna make some of the Skinny Pads!! I Love how you show us so many different Crafts!! That's the type of crafter I am. I've had trouble finding a UA-camr that crafts like me. Then I Found YOU!! I am so Glad that I did!! I'm really New to your Channel, having so much Fun watching your past videos. The timing is just cracking me up! I had one of those stiff backed pads that I love, but there was no cover to protect it in my bag. Mine is purely functional, but I just used a heavy duty file folder, glued the backs down, then folded it over on the pre-scored line and called it done. Clearly, it isn’t! (It’s going in a tote bag twice a week, so I will forego floral embellishments, but I will have to at least find some beautiful paper and perhaps some ribbon. Thanks again!
