Historic 1851 Colusa County Cemetery UHD

This cemetery is located in Colusa California, my home town. Most of my lone-gone family members on my mother's side of the family (Gash) are buried here. The Gash family came to California in the very early 1900s. My father's side of the family (Jordans) are buried in the Catholic Cemetery also in Colusa. The Jordan family came to California around 1883.

Don, Thanks for sharing your Family history. I to am a History nut, we all should remember those that came, and passed before us. I found recently that my Great Grand Father's brass head stone plate was stolen several years ago. He was buried in a cemetery in far West Texas. I am having a new carved stone made to replace the brass plate that was stolen. He was born in 1855 in Alabama, Family moved to Texas in wagons in 1858. Can you imagine the stories that each and every one of those people buried there could tell. Each person there lived and had a unique story to tell. If only we could listen to them now!
