Did not know she had passed. Thank you Lamont for reminding us of how talented and beautiful Ms. Diggs was.

I didn't know either
I didn't know either
I didn't know either wow RIP. This my jam❤
Renee was BADD! My Dad was the lead singer of a group in Louisiana called “HyRisk”. His name is Albert Davis Sr. He & their lead singer Ms. Shirley Breaux(beautifully talented as well)performed this song & MANY others. I was a kid, but I had an early appreciation for ALL genres. I thank my parents for blessing us with the gift 🎁 of music. Rest in peace Ms. Renee Diggs. Rest in peace Mama. I love & miss you beyond words…🥀🥀💔🕊️
Thanks for sharing your awesome memories ❤
Sparkling, clear vocalist
that's what I was looking to describe her voice yes she was clear.
I saw Starpoint @ V103 in Atlanta, getting out of their limo to go up and do an interview, in 1986. I saw Renee Diggs on the sidewalk standing beside the limo, waiting on her other bandmates to exit. She was as beautiful as she sang, I'll never forget that moment in time, R.I.P. Ms. Diggs...🙏🏼
She's FAV 4ever. Keeping it Professional Renee & Ernesto Phillips *Starpoint* were a couple keeping it low key publicly. True love, he transitioned same month as Renee a year 2004 before Renee 2005 transition. Loves lives forever. Great voice she had, great group, with lots of hits. Great video remembering RD. ❤❤❤❤👑
She died of a Broken Heart.
I wondered!!! Oh ok
I have never heard of her or the group, sad she passed from complications due to MS. Thanks Lamont for the video.
Yes, I was a fan of Starpoint too, and I enjoyed her beautiful voice as well as her attractive looks. I remember reading about it in Jet magazine in 2005.
They had another song called WHAT YOU'VE BEEN MISSING that was jammin also... R. I. P. to her very beautiful and talented woman

I ❤ (1980's) R&B I grew up in this era . But I first heard of this song on Stranger Things now I love this song.❤😮
That was the song that would bring almost EVERYONE to the dance floor on a Saturday night. Good Times ❤
Still my favorite song
I didn’t know she had passed away 😢I grew up listening to that song plus so many!! Love your channel
R.I.P Renee listened to that song all the time in Jr. high. Late 80s - early 90s R&B the competition was so stiff! The dozens of groups that never really received the fame they deserved would be freakin superstars today!
"He wants my Body" is my favorite Starpoint song ❤
This is one of my favorite songs ❤
She's beautiful. I still never heard of their hit song
Wow i luved "object of my desire" my teen years and i did not know she was a Marylander like me.

Some people and so-called dj's don't know music their album back then had was great and full of good songs that wasn't played on the radio. One of the brothers passed not long after she did.

Damn … I never knew she had passed away.
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
🕯️🌹nice headstone
Now I have to ask if that is resting at the foot of her grave or the head of her grave? I've been learning so much lately about how some caskets are buried either at the foot of the foot stone or at the head of the headstone and there is a difference.
Ooh she could sing
Wow I didn't know she passed😢

Sadly Renee was diagnosed with MS the same time this song starting to climb the charts and the same time my mother was diagnosed with it also.
