While the hate train did affect the Bionic era and perhaps her ambition afterwards (Lotus era + not using the momentum in 2013 after “Say Something”), I think her divorce affected her way more.

She looked so amazing, beautiful, and cool here. It makes me so sad what she went through with Bionic being sabotaged and her divorce.
I wish she would release Kimono Girl, the Goldfrapp tracks, So What You Got, and the second Le Tigre track she recorded for Bionic. I preferred the collaboration tracks most

Amo el album Bionic, me encanta Not myself to naight y You lost me. Ojala este album hubiera tenido más videos y presentaciones en vivo. Me imagino videos para canciones como Monday morning, Birds of prey, Desnudate, Whoohoo, Lift me up, Glam, Iam. Me encanta que Christina se reinventa y siempre explora con sonidos diferentes.

I wonder what the lead single would have been if she hadn’t waited and found NMT. I wish we’d had the tour, the extra songs, all of it.
It was originally going to be glam. But the label wanted her to do Not Myself Tonight instead I’m happy she did Not Myself Tonight because I think glam is boring.
She should've released the album when it finished in 2009 so she could focus on the movie in 2010

she was happy here. since Lotus she is not the same. i dont know what happand there, maybe divorce or Bionic fail, but she is not the same as before 2010.

100 % agree! I don't understand why Bionic and Lotus weren't more successful for her. Bionic reminded me of Stripped in regards to the excellent songs and creativity. I wish she had more of that. Christina strikes me as an artist who always has something to say.
Lady gaga & perez hilton, and thats the time when new generations started rising (and christina was bashed, fallen from that on those generations dont listen to her or know her work, sadly)
Actually she wasn't the same since giving birth to Max. She never looked that energetic at all during the whole promotion of Bionic, especially comparing to the previous eras.
@@TDgeekolo : Kids and her Family are her total priority in life now and I can understand it, so she definitely put down the promo a bit but as an artist she delivered legendary music in all her albums ( also she wasn't as successful as before) and she still is the prettiest Lady on Earth.
The album would've been more successful if she'd released the bonus tracks as singles instead

Would it have fared better, if it was released in 2009? What if...
The concept of going into the future after going into the past with B2B made sense. The thing is she took too long in the making, and by the time she released it, everybody else was doing electronic music, including Lady Gaga. It felt tired and like she was trying to hard to follow trends. Now the thing is, I thought Bionic was missing bops, ballads were good, and there were quite a few OK tracks. But I didn't think any song had single potential after hearing it. NMT was not good enough for a lead single, and neither was any of the other songs in my opinion. Visuals for NMT already look rushed or underproduced. Look at Dirrty, look at ANOM.... production was top notch. What happened here? It felt rushed and not really thought through... even her look didn't change all that much. Before she used to change her image entirely. She kept the platinum blonde, red lipstick, curlyish hair. She didn't change much or didn't surprise me the way she used to before.
I agree, she didn't change her look that much in bionic era. It would be a total blast if she hd at least make her look edgy. The costumes are not that futuristic enough to match gaga at that time. NMST really looked like it was rushed. I wish that she would notice the #justiceforbionic and at least release a video for bionic, primadonna and vanity.
