He trained for YEARS as an assistant coach in NO and Miami and when the Lions job opened up he WANTED it and envisioned in his mind what its going to take and boy did he ever deliver. One of the GREATEST speakers and motivators I have EVER seen and i played college sports and seen many in my 63 years of life. He reminds me of Dick Vermiel who was also a great TOUGH motivator but also full of love and VERY compassionate and that's what Dan is. The Lions will win MULTIPLE Super Bowls under this mans leadership, you watch 😏

Penei will be in his 4th season of his rookie deal, and I expect the Lions will make him the highest paid OLineman in the history of the game. And they need to do that for him. He is the core of this team and a generational talent. Then we need to re-sign Amon Ra, who also deserves top 5 WR money. Goff is going to need to be paid too. That is big money coming up. Since the Lions have at least $20mil left top spend this season, I wonder if BH don't use some of this years extra cap money to work out an extension for extend Goff for another 3 year deal. Or to put the money toward re-signing CGJ.
