Be honest about Jordan, he was the best , but the Bulls timing was perfect for domination. As they were rising the truly dominant teams of the 80s like Lakers, Celtics, Pistons were falling. If he was the unbeatable one man team people make him out to be he wouldn't have been the 8th seed playing great teams in first round.
The 90s had very little player movement. So teams mostly kept the same core imagining one day they'd wake up and be better than the Bulls . He didn't beat any dynasties like Spurs or Warriors like Lebron, Lakers or Celtics like Magic and Bird, the idea his presence stopped dynasties isn't true because no Western conference team made more than 2 finals. Rockets who actually won, he never played.
Also he had a team that won 55 games without him, and nobody even remembers who Bulls replacement 2guard was. So it's not like the opposing stars he played in Finals Malone, Barkley, Payton etc had far better teams around them and they still won.
There's alot more erroneous myths that try to make him out to be a perfect undefeatable individual God that could of dunked from half court and beaten the Mon-stars from space jam. And that's not even an argument to say he's a not the best but that it's a team sport. Same myths are around Brady too. How to do you lose if your defense gives up 3 pts.
