Hello friends, before anyone says anything about Josephine. This takes place in 136. Daughter/Servant of evil takes place at around year 500. Horses nor people last that long.
Though Venomania did many horrible things, I can't help but sympathy for him. He was abused, he didn't even have a name until he was a teenager, before then, he'd just been locked up and fed scraps. According to the wiki, even after the true Sateriasis convinced his father to let him be free, he was kept as a servant. Something that makes me always emotional is how much he loved Gumina, and even though she loved him, she could never admit that. First, she mocked him to save him. Then she believed it was his brother and even though she "loved" him that time, she had simply been seduced, which wasn't really love. And when Venomania choked his last words, once again, he was rejected. Imagine, all your life you were abused, rejected, cast aside, mocked by the only person you loved. You tried to become a better person, but the next thing you know you've killed your family and are responsible for the kidnapping of hundreds of women. And then, as you die the death you even slightly agree you deserve, you see the person you've only ever truly loved. And as you die, the last thing you see is her rejecting you once again... Truly tragic :'(
Even though Venomania is a rapist, I can't help but feel bad for him. His sins are his sins and there's no excuse for what he did but that's genuinely terrible.
That's what's great and disturbing about this story, even though all the characters have dark sides, there's always a pitiful side to their stories that makes us reconsider our thoughts about them.

I love the detail to the case report. Especially the fact it's called Asmodean Area. For those who aren't big into demons, Asmodeus is the archdemon sin of lust. I really love that detail that's so small, but noticeable.

Venomania is such an interesting and important character. Except for Rilliane and Margarita he is the ancestor of all the main demon contractor. Tought Eve got her final vessel (the doll) , during the Venomania event and that Irina uses Gilles's power to make Arth having a child with Prim disturbing Hansel and Gretel reincarnation circle which gave Allen and Rilliane.
What's even more messed up is one of the missing girls is Yuki Kaina with an unknown age. Her name is VERY similar to the vocaloid Yuki Kaai Yuki is 9 years old.
@@eleanorbateman4317 I'm not sure. I haven't read the whole novel yet. Most characters that I have seen so far are pretty close/look pretty close to the vocaloid's official age (if they have one) so I assumed it would be the same with Yuki but again I'm still reading the novel so I dont know
And to think all Duke Venomania wanted was to be loved. Wanted. And desired. But time twisted and warped that wish, so the want and desire he did receive was completely different (momentary pleasure due to the deal he made with the Demon of Lust, meaning the women who wanted him didn't really want him as themselves, they wanted him because they were under the spell) from what he really wanted -needed- leaving him evermore unsatisfied as want swallowed him whole. On a search that would never end. That's the real tragedy of the Madness of Duke Venomania, I think. In the end, lust became his downfall.
