      Attempting install today. Running the tape up and right where the front deck starts I'm unable to pass. Been on that spot for 2 hours now and tried many different things. Any tricks to getting past that spot? Was smooth all the way to that spot then brickwall.

      I ran into the same problem. It took a bunch of tries to get through there.. It's evidently a very small gap.

      @@Ross-ro1cs Ross, I was using a metal fish tape with a curved end. Since then I've been told a fiberglass one may get through there easier. Good luck.

    Thanks for the video, now, I was with you on the terminal plug, but the part about how the foot pedal wires are connected to it and not seeing how that black wire is connected to anything through that hole in the plate, suddenly lost me (@ 2:30). Can you give a more detailed explanation about the terminal connection (front of the terminal and back) please? Also, where did you purchase that style power terminal block?

      I ended up not filming it. I mounted it to the transom.

    In general, is the Tracker boat reliable? No cracks or leaks after the warranty years?

      I haven't had any issues with mine. It's electric only, so it doesn't get any pounding, wave action, motoring over stumps, etc.

    Can you use this mostly just going around the river and fish or no I'm knew to this trying to find somjing cheep to put on my boat instead of putting a big motor on it

      I use it mostly in smaller lakes, 15-45 acres in size. There's plenty of power with the 36 volt trolling motor, but it's not a long distance sort of deal.

      +ScottMcGehee got you do you need a boater license to have one off these on there ?

      In MS you would need to register the boat and get your numbers put on it for public waters.

    Does this Tracker boat riveted or welded design?

    How do you wire your 12 volt electronics from your 36 volt battery configuration?

    • @ScottMcGehee
      @ScottMcGehee  6 років тому +1

      You run separate wires from the positive and negative poles of one of the batteries.

    • @DjehutimasAsarRa
      @DjehutimasAsarRa 6 років тому

      If the batteries are series wouldn't I still get 36 volts? Or are you referring to a separate battery?

    • @ScottMcGehee
      @ScottMcGehee  6 років тому +1

      Sorry that I wasn't clearer earlier. With a 36 volt system, you wire the 3 batteries in series, to get 36 volts. Battery 1 positive to Battery 2 negative. Battery 2 positive to Battery 3 negative. You get 36 volts by hooking something form the negative of Battery 1 and the positive from Battery 3. Each individual battery is still only 12 volts. So to get 12 volts, you'd hook your ground to the negative of Battery 1 and the positive to the positive pole of Battery 1.
