- Hi! The way we dispose of trash in Korea could be a little different from your country. This is because we can't use any plastic bags when we throw out garbage, but instead, we must buy special garbage bags for your local district!

It would have been helpful to see an actual conversation of someone go into a convenience store and but some bags😂 for me at least cuz i cannot understand the cashier if he talks back😢

We usually say 쓰레기장. 쓰레기 means garbage or waste and 장 means place. You could say 쓰레기장 어디 있어요? (Where is the garbage disposal area?) or you could also say 쓰레기 어디에 버려요? (where can I dispose of garbage). Both will work! Good luck!

I threw the food waste inside the food waste bag into the machine....is there a way to get it back or will I get fined?
There is no way to get it back, and I haven't seen someone get fined so far. But if this things happen repeatedly, they won't collect the bag there.
My landlord just told me to put it on any street corner....
Oh, they may collect garbage bags on that street! But if you put wastes in an ordinary plastic bag, it won't be collected ☺
