So many people are arguing about Chara being evil or not, its really just a personally belief, there are facts where Chara isn't really bad, and facts where she does kill. There, however, is one big fact that is true for everyone genocide players: you are the one that pressed the fight button first and continued because your curious of what happens(or you just enjoy killing everyone). So Chara didn't technically make anyone do genocide, but she did destroy the world and kill Asgore and Flowey at their own will, another thing is that there is a second before Chara kills Flowey where you can choose, like in judgement boy's video, there is a pause where you have to press enter to kill Flowey/Asriel. So it could be Chara hesitating and/or giving you a chance. And unlike some other 4 year old Undertale fan, I'm actually reasonable and knows spelling and grammar -_-.

POV: it was 2016 and everyone made fanfiction making chara a megalomaniac villain who somehow possessed frisk and made the genocide route. also frisk dated sans at the end and was always a girl.
FUN FACT: Chara is not the enemy. She only destroys everyone based off of *your* influence. If you choose to go genocide, in the beginning, she hates it. But as you play, she finds it... fun. Everyone says she's evil, but its really you. Her relationship with Asriel was almost better than her relationship with her own family. Think about it; she never even tried to get back home, she just wanted her *resting place* to be her home. Azzy felt this way as well. (Not to be hateful to you, Magpiepony, it's just these steryotypes make me mad. It's a wonderful song! :D)
Before the game itself Chara already was a manipulative psychopath that only used Asriel for power They are not the enemy they are literally the personification of evil and ausence of empathy

There really needs to be an undertale/my little pony Crossover now. Hell you could say the Underground is near Canterlot Highschool or something, Frisk could fit into the Eqg setting. I don't think he broke the Mercy button. From then on, in the game, you can't control anything that Frisk/Chara does. They kill Asgore and Flowey without you doing anything and then the game gets erased, even if you click 'Do Not'. Well, as far as I know.

FUN FACT: Chara is not the enemy. She only destroys everyone based off of *your* influence. If you choose to go genocide, in the beginning, she hates it. But as you play, she finds it... fun. Everyone says she's evil, but its really you. Her relationship with Asriel was almost better than her relationship with her own family. Think about it; she never even tried to get back home, she just wanted her *resting place* to be her home. Azzy felt this way as well. (Not to be hateful to you, Magpiepony, it's just these steryotypes make me mad. It's a wonderful song! :D)

I don't think he broke the Mercy button. From then on, in the game, you can't control anything that Frisk/Chara does. They kill Asgore and Flowey without you doing anything and then the game gets erased, even if you click 'Do Not'. Well, as far as I know.

And her items are the strongest weapon and armor in the game, which you also only get in Genocide. And she only shows her face and Genocide and says some creepy lines. And Frisk turns into her and kills her friends if you do Pacifist after Genocide. I agree that player is the main villain, but I think Chara is the embodiment of player in the game, guiding Frisk and forcing her into murdering everyone
