Its nice to see them stil going strong, these machines, unfortanly in denmark they talk as if these aint even existing anymore! like theyre gone from history, thats very sad.
On a recent trip to Thursford I specifically requested to hear it, as they were only playing the Decap for whatever reason, was only when he put a book through it I realised why ! What a shame its in that state.
There used to be CD,two tapes that that Mortier on (along with Gavioli,Decap,Marenghi and the street organ) that Thursford released on the label which are longer sold There was re-issue of Decca recordings on an 2 CD set which had the Mortier on CD 1 (and couple tracks from the Carl Frei organ) which is not on sale any more.
A CD with 3 tracks of this organ (amongst others) was made in the early 90's, but don't bother as two of the tracks already feature on this video and the organ plays much worse on the CD.
Wow! This is amazing, I'm familiar with a Bandorgan, but this is new to me. Looks art deco, I love it!
Sounds fantastic here! Like a few things at Thursford i feel this now needs some TLC!

Kom til Græsted eller Grønnessegård i pinsen. Hver pinse!
Sounds so much better here compared with how it sounds now! Almost unrecognisable!

Carl Heslop I agree! The organ is desperately crying out for a restoration!
