I’m back to rewatch this episode… one point which I think is so so important and so crucial to acknowledge is truly how much of a beautiful live singer Tae is. He is so slept on. IU is considered one of the leading female vocalists from South Korea so her genuine praise saying he’s a genius live performer is truly meaningful. A good reminder also is that to this day Tae is still the only BTS vocalist who has been nominated for Best live performance as a soloist at the MAMA awards (Love Me Again 2023 MAMA). All too often people seem to think only high notes in very processed prerecording or performance videos which have been doctored by the company are what a great singer is but there is so so much more to it. Considering how wide Tae’s range is too is so impressive. From his falsetto, to his head voice to his chest voice and how flawlessly he transitions between them. The praise Tae got for his life performances during Layover from experts was truly so well deserved. Too often people are brainwashed and gaslighted in this fandom by official positions given at debut… and it truly needs to stop being passed down to new ARMY, more than 11 years have passed since their debut. The reason why BTS became so well known in Korea was because official positions mean nothing. I think the fact that Tae is always evolving and getting even more exquisite vocally especially live really needs to be acknowledged more. And respected more. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Yknow I’d love to see a reaction to IU’s episode on Suchwita. There’s so much content of her interviewing BTS members but in that episode it’s Yoongi interviewing IU and so I think it’d give them a chance to learn more about her (since they seem interested).

I love this episode so muchhhh! I would love for you to also watch Hobi and Yoongi's episodes in IU Palette, as well as the Suchwita Episode with IU. Another show that really shows live vocals is Lee Mujin - Jimin and Jin guested on this show but Jin sang a lot compare to Jimin (not sure why hehe) but I love both episodes 😊💜
