Thanks to @raffriff42. He pointed out that of the some commenters seem to be confused. "Full Page" is not the same as "Full Screen". For example: a full page screenshot on a webpage will do a full scrolling capture to take a screenshot of the entire page NOT what is just visible on the screen. Hopefully that helps. :)
Print screen in Windows works fine for me for full page. It copies the current full screen to the clipboard, then I just paste in into my image editor. I use it all the time.
Hi, Darius. May I ask you a question, please? I've already downloaded ShareX some months ago, and am still experimenting with it. However, I'm just about to start learning how to use Linux Mint, and was wondering why you've suggested Ksnip instead of ShareX for that. Is ShareX not useable on Linux? Thanks.
@@EIRE55 I am also on Linux Mint, ShareX is only available on Windows not on Linux, so alternative for me is Ksnip, I use only fullscreen screenshot option. On Windows I just click Print Screen and ShareX saves screenshot automatically in folder. On Linux, native screenshot app and Flameshot always open new dialog to click capture then save, so its annoying for me. But Ksnip is great for me, I just set up shortcut/hotkey, in this case Page Down and it saves my screenshot in folder instantly. Hope this helps.
@@darius444 Many thanks for getting back to me, Darius. That's been a great help, as I'm just about to start learning all about Linux and maybe dump Windows when I feel confident enough. Stay safe and well, wherever you are.
What about a full screen page capture that also includes my task bar showing the date and time as proof of when I took it. Not just typing when I did it. I need to show it from my task bar,
So there is a key that will take a screenshot of an entire webpage, scrolled down from top to bottom, and will include my full taskbar? Print screen does not do that on my computer.

Thanks Brett, I learned some things!
And to certain commenters, ‘full page’ does NOT mean ‘full screen’.

So it does 1/3 of the job the Linux kernel does. Pretty good for Microsoft.
Really? For me it captures only the visible screen.
Does not Snip and Sketch do the same? Curious on this one
Yet another excellent "know how" video! Thanks Brett! 👍👍
Thank you, very valuable trick!
A most helpful video. Thanks.
Many thanks
For Windows I use ShareX, and for Linux for me Ksnip is best, there is also Flameshot but for me ksnip is better

Nice :)
fyi My Vivaldi also has Capture to Clipboard.

Ubuntu does that with no add-on software needed. Linux really is ready for the desktop and you wouldn't miss Windows.
@@RockinRobbins13How is it with VR? 🤔
The Print Screen key does that.
there is literally a key on your keyboard that does that. look down

Chrome full page screenshot
ctrl + shift + i
ctrl + shift + p > Screenshot
That's easy. Dump Windows to the curb. Load up Ubuntu. Press . Done. It's built into the operating system like it should be.
That works in Windows too. I use it all the time.
@@GaryB007 When I dumped Windows to the curb it didn't!
@@RockinRobbins13 It goes back to at least Windows 7, and I think Windows 95 too, maybe even earlier.
