Quietstorm7 God will pull you through. At first I struggled because I was trying to do it on my own. When I got to the end of my rope, I said Jesus I don’t know how to do this. I handed it over. Very fearful. Very afraid but let me tell you something - for the 18 months I was out of the job, Jehovah Jireh provided. He sent ravens to feed me. I trust him completely. Will say a prayer for you that your faith will stand firm in this time. God bless you

This is exactly what I've been going through since losing my 25yo son on June 4th from an attack by another kid. That angers my family because the 19yo kid hasn't been arrested yet. They don't understand me when I tell them GOD has it under control.

Peter was able to sleep because he had gone "through" a lot with Jesus.
I want to be out of my mind! It has imprisoned me for long enough.
Dry bones can live again. I won't stop knocking. I am grateful to God to be on this path with Him. The door may not open right away, but I will keep knocking. I won't stop believing no matter what. I will keep my door open to Jesus.

When my daughter passed away. Prayed to God not to let me forget Him because I was only a newborn in Christ. I was Saved 7 months. She passed away on a Friday and I new I had to go to church that Sunday because I knew if I didn’t I just might walk away.
Then God kept knocking until I wrote the book God wanted me to write.
When I finally finish writing my book. God knocked again to get me to start speaking. I had to do what God want otherwise He will move on to the next person.

God knocked on my door for several years, after I drifted away from spending much time with Him. God got my attention by putting a few special Christians in my life this year. Physical problems has kept me away from church for many years, so God came to me through these two beautiful souls. I was up all night, yet another night, and there was Pastor Steve on TV preaching. I have tried televised services, but never really connected spiritually with the other ministers. Pastor Steve caught my attention. I hung onto every word. I wrote down the church's name, and his, Googled him, then searched UA-cam. I listen to at least 2 different sermons a week, and .ore than once. Pastor Steve, if you hear about this, you knocked at my door tonight. It's the middle of another sleepless night, but I heard God through you. I have about given up on having my health restored. I guess I am afraid that something else will go wrong, and I didn't want to get my hopes up again for a big let down, yet again. I so want to meet a group of true Christian friends, not Sunday Christians. Do I dare hope that I can fall in love again, and not have to live my life alone, for the rest of my life? I have to believe that God really does want me to be happy, and risk getting myself back in church, as soon as I physically am able. In the meantime, Elevation is my church. I always hear God through Pastor Steve. God bless you Pastor, and every single person who heard your words, spoken for God. I realized tonight, God doesn't want me to be isolated and alone. I was literally nodding and crying and whispering AMEN while hearing this wonderful word of the Lord! I never had the eagerness to understand the bible by myself until I encountered this channel. I am really wow-ed how God uses Pastor Steven to share all of these. God really is the Alpha and the Omega.

It takes faith to pray for Peter when they just lost James, and to always remember how peter was able to sleep because he saw in his spirit how Jesus slept through a storm . God is saying , “ I can do a lot more while you sleep , than you can while you are straining “ RIP , rest is powerful.

I needed this, I will continue to knock. My daughter passed suddenly at 8 months during a nap on 7/31/17. I had a son a year later (not planned on) on 7/31/18. I named him Gabriel after the angel. He was born with a almost fatal lung disease that most babies don’t make it past they’re first year of life. The disease is called ABCA3. He is 17 months now but he is on a breathing machine at home 24/7, feeding tube, and monitor 24/7, but he is extremely active like a normal 1 year old, which isn’t common. I’ve been to ICU with him over 15 times. We found out the disease is genetic and 1 out of 4 babies could have this if we have more. It’s been extremely difficult since my daughter passed and I miss her sooo much. And now my baby needs a miracle, and we would love to have a daughter again. I will keep knocking. My prayer targets are for my PTSD and anxiety to go away. That Gabriel will be one of the successful cases and ween off of oxygen. That my heart will heal and that we could have at least 1 more daughter, one day when Gabriel is stable. And that our 4 year olds fears of his brother going to heaven like his sissy will go away. Side note Gia Marie would have been 3 on December 2. 🙏🏼👼🏻💕

This was for me. I honestly believe it was for me. This was so encouraging not at all hard to hear because it's what I've been leaning on but I'm starting to question if I'm crazy because who I know God to be dissent match what people think he's doing. And I've been struggling like whether to give up!
So happy you did not give up! And even if you tried, Gods purpose would still prevail in your life.

If you only knew how this sermon hit home for me. My life got turned upside down two months ago. This week has been the worst week of them all. I went through the worst pain my mind, body, and soul has ever experienced. I have been stuck in prison for so long. I have been practicing and learning to try to defeat the prison inside my head. I had thought to myself that I needed to go through it, I did not know why. Then you said, "The only reason God allowed the trial was to free you from what was holding you captive." There are no words that I can find to explain how I am feeling right now, other than thank you for your sermon! Thank you God for opening up my eyes and helping me walk through this door I have held shut my whole life.

I have been in and out active addiction for the past 25/30 years. I am newly sober from drugs yet again. There is a lot of people in my life just sitting around waiting for the bottom to fall out yet again. And usually I'm sitting right there with them. But...
This Time I'm not. This Time I'm sitting in the presence of the Lord waiting to see what
His Will is for me! This Time is the first & only time I have ever put God first in my recovery or in my life at all. So when I tell you that it is making a major difference This Time! I mean it & believe it w/my whole heart. You see in just in the short time that it's been that
I have turned My Will and My life over to Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ He as done soooooo much for me already.
And there has great change in many aspects of my life. The change has seemed to be fairly quick and easy for me so far. But... this past week I have noticed a bit of a slow down ya some bumps in tha road if u willl. And I have been praying asking knocking wanting to hear from God about what I need to do next. I'm currently staying with my ex-husband and his girlfriend in Kentucky where I went to a faith based treatment program simple because I know how the story ends for me if I go back to my home in East Tennessee cause I'm scared to be around the same old people & places where my addiction loves to play! So when I scrolling thru tryin to decide what sermon I wanted to listen to today because I really haven't heard one from Pastor Furtick that I didn't like or couldn't apply to my life in some way. (which btw makes it kinda hard to choose sometime)
Anyway as I was scrolling I heard God say knock knock listen to that one that's the one you need to hear today! Like I was saying before this week I've been praying about what to do next. Weighing my options on going home. We're taking an opportunity the leap of faith if you will and moving to a faith-based sober living place in Fort Lauderdale Florida where I have already secured a job in an office full of faith-based recovery people. Which all sounds really great and I do believe that that's where God is calling me to go. So I know it doesn't sound like things are slowing down for me... but they have in the way of finances. Because to move it takes money not a whole lot of money but at the moment I got more lint in my pockets than I do funds. Needless to say I was freaking out a little bit thinking well God I feel like this is where you calling me to go but how am I going to get there. But now... after listening to this message I know that if it truly is God's Will for me to get down there to Florida He will open the door to make it happen for me and all I'll have to do is walk through it. Cause he hears me knocking! I've just got to listen for the door to open and be obedient to His Will and walk through that door no matter what's on the other side of it.

Great message! I needed this one. Opposition can also position us for God's purpose. I know I'm forgiven, but, sometimes feel forgotten. When I am overwhelmed, momentum has stopped and feel like it's over for me, I just need to keep knocking in my sleep. Appreciate the message.

This is what I call a savage. This man can preach. What a powerful message. God has been speaking to me through so many sources and I see the message knock and trust in Him. Sometimes when we think devil is knocking to destroy us it's actually God who is knocking to develop us.
We need faith to dress up and go without knowing the destination.
Desparate people have different knocks.
Sometimes we have to sleep in betweens.
