The Sign and Last Twilight are the series I've been waiting all week to watch I loved that the sign focuses on action and mythology and not just romance

Managing to balance the folklore between Phaya and Tharn, building their romance, and the criminal investigations all in one series is actually amazing, and it's only episode 4?!?! I'm hooked. 😩
First time a BL is openly addressing rape issues... When other Thai BLs have glorified and romanticised R*pe..the Sign addressed a r*pe victim is always a victim and women's dressing have nothing to do with 'provocation' or getting 'r*ped'.
Can this series get any better. Hats off to producer, director, writer and script writers 😭❤️
That's right. I only remember two series where side characters got r*ped and had trauma. It's okay to like watching or enjoying hard stuff but only if everyone who is involved likes it and agrees to it!!! BL or GL or Hetero. R*pe is one of the most cruel crimes in the world and should be punished like murder!!!
“The effect” is actually about the main lead getting raped and captured by his crush. It’s very good but super dark! So trigger warning on it!

This is NOT the first Thai BL Series dealing with a rape issue. I think you (and the 155 likes at this moment) are totally new to this matter, na. 😏
We have "The Effect"; "Love By Chance", "Love In The Air"; "My Dream"... all showing and dealing with rape.
And we have also "Tharn Type" dealing with child sexual abuse... and a rape attend on TYPE.
BUT the most controversial male to male rape storyline ever in a Thai BL Themed Series is in "The Judgement" Episode 7... with our amazing Thai actor Mond Tanutchai as NHAO. In that Series his boyfriend JAMIE had coming out issues and wanted to keep their relationship a secret, not able to be seen together with him in public. At home his parents were against him being openly gay, with a lot of rejection and pain... and in the end it was all too much for him to take emotionally leading to his suicide.
So... this is definitely not new and not the first BL Series dealing with it openly either.

But they only use it as a side story (even in TharnType, because the first intimate contacts between the main characters were not with agreements, and even if they end up as a couple, the series romanticize sexual assault). Like other series as well. I can't remember any BL series right now where rape or assault was actually addressed as a crime so strongly without any romanticization. And I think TharnType is also the only one where it affects the main character and not just a supporting character. What makes it even worse in my eyes is that this show (and I actually like the show) romanticizes unwanted sexual acts and then also uses it as the beginning of great love.

The interrogations are just great. They discuss main issues regarding blaming rape victims. Such as saying it's women's fault cause they dress "inappropriately" or not believing when a victim is man

I swear this is the most intense BL I have ever seen... apart from mind-blowing chemestry of BillyBabe i love how cleanly its interwoven various sub plots, mystry and myth.
Thailand is known for making some of the best BL and the Sign is one great works.... This series is one of my favorite 😍😍😍 The actors are amazing and the story is very captivating it's just 4 episode and it was so good, I have nothing more to say ❤️❤️❤️ keep it up 👏👏👏👏 Thank you again Boss Saint for giving us good and quality series 😘😘😘

As a man who has been raped, I really appreciated the subtle nod to how men can be victims too and we are just as valid. we often aren’t taken seriously.
( I mean I’m also a trans man which sadly adds a whole new layer of not being taken seriously )

Wow, for me this series is really the best BL series currently running here and elsewhere. First-class script, this mix of genres and all the actors are very believable. And every episode is different and absolutely captivating. I would like to see more BL series like that in the future. No more tired teenage student stories, please.🤩
Tharn is so cute. He is trying so hard to be cold to Phaya, but his eyes reveal that he loves him, and even the way he says his name.
This series touches on a lot of pretty serious topics... I would highlight the fact that anyone can be a victim of abuse no matter the gender and that if a woman dresses sexy it is not a reason to be attacked. Well done IDF.. Great job.. Brave
It's so good to see them working on a case. the plot keeps getting more interesting.
I hope this series will get a lot of awards recognitions next year.

Absolutely obsessed with this show, you can tell everyone worked really hard. Billy and Babe's chemistry is breathtaking.
It's such a good series not just because the BL romance is so moving and full of chemistry but because the plot behind them is so intriguing. I honestly want to simpatize with the killer who probably experienced S.A if not for the fact they are forcing the victims to kill and further traumatizing them. All I can say is I never expected this but it's so welcome.
I was hesitant to watch this at first but now am in love with everything about it
Saint and Idolfactory does an excellent job working social commentary into their dramas. It's done in a very respectful, non-judgmental, non-preaching way. Very well done interrogation scenes!
