I’m 47 and in full agreement with Fran on the Idea of You. Loved every minute, I’m such a romantic and this movie was made for me! lol I also agree that I wish people just watched the movie and didn’t have to go into such deep analysis about it.

Lindsey does not deserve better, she deserves whomever she gets. Agree this episode Lindsey kept calm and yes Carl was struggling to express himself coherently but he looked more like a person that had ptsd from interacting with Lindsey and was just terrified to say the wrong words and exacerbate things as well as ‘activate’ her. Also, what do ppl expect him to do at the Bridal Shower, he hadn’t made the decision to jump ship so he’s still believing maybe he can go through with the marriage so why would he publicly humiliate his fiancée by acting anyway other than a doting groom? He made the right decision for both of them and people don’t talk enough about how Lindsey’s whole career was as a publicist, of course she’s going to know exactly how to play the cameras to optimize her media persona. She underestimated how much of her horrible drunk rantings were going to stay in the show tho or she might have taken a different story for the pre-season press to downplay things.
i must be getting old (and I'm just 31) because jokes about music being popular in gay clubs and bringing in somebody's child just seems stupid and childish to me

there are big problems and lawsuits going on with the after series and harry styles and i think they are trying to avoid that situation
Almost couldn’t watch Idea of You because Galatzine and Hathaway look like cousins or half siblings, just cringed until I finally got used to the characters enough to not feel like they’re related. Overall movie was just ok, not as sappy as a Hallmark movie so I was able to power through since I do actually like Hathaway.
On the other side of the Tom Brady roast, what the hell was up with Ben Affleck? Did no one tell him what a roast was?

I looooved The Idea of You. Perfect amount of cheesy and sappiness. Noah and Ria have a track record of liking bad movies. So I'm sticking with Fran on this review. Noah comparing Marry Me to this movie is aggregious. Dude, watch better movies.
