Mohammed is what we would call a social butterfly, I think it was awesome that he had so much confidence and a real desire to be apart of American culture. He had his plan set from day one he was coming to America and make a life here.
Can't be mad at that to be honest, i strive to be like him! (excluding scaming old women to get to america lol)
It must be brutal being a social butterfly and driving trucks, especially during Covid.
Mohammed seems independent, and more self assured than Zied. It's cool he could just started talking to, and easily make friends. He's trying to adapt to his new surroundings. Yeah that girl was a bit much.

When I was in Tunisia with my son who was 10 at the time, we were on the beach and some young guys were playing football (soccer) they came up to us and asked my son if he wanted to join them. I thought that was really friendly and nice of them.
Yeah it's very common in Morocco too.. that's why i didn't find it weird
About the drunk lady in the bar... yes, that does happen in the US. Some bars are known for "picking up" someone. We used to call them "meat markets" when I was in college. Some women do get pretty aggressive/forward like that.

Well yeah, cuz to have their faces on camera they had to sign a contract... So I guess the producers saw an opportunity and told 'em to play along if they wanted to be on TV. In a way its kinda organic, like they aren't paid actors, but there's a bit of pre-meditation going on

I've always had social confidence, as you say, and loved helping my shyer friends open up! I dunno where I got my confidence from but I loved seeing my shy friends progressively get more outgoing. I wish I could help you! Find yourself a outgoing friend and have them help you make conversation easily with anyone! I can walk up to literally anyone and converse.

Why does Mohammed sound like Borat?! - I've been around Arabs for more than 7 years, my boyfriend of 7 years is Libyan and so was my ex (who also happened to be and still be his best friend, but we won't get into that right now...all is good though😅), I've been around A LOT of Tunisias as well, infact Libyans and Tunisians have the closest accent and dialect to each other compared to other North African cultures, and none of the Arabs I have ever met sound or talk anything like Mohammed, he literally talks like a Borat tribute act! Does your religion have different « levels » of sin? For instance I’m Christian (Roman Catholic) and under our denomination we have Mortal Sins (a direct violation of the 10 Commandments, sins which will send you to Hell if you’ve not had Confession) and Venial Sins (sins that are not mentioned in the 10 Commandments and would most likely send you to Purgatory ie running a red light, saying something mean to someone...)
