How many republic do you need?
French:yes
lol
Our country is currently a 5th Republic since 1958.
It won't be a 6th one unless the return of the French Monarchy 🇫🇷⚜️(Return the King and Queen of France House of Bourbons or Orleans) or The French Empire 🇫🇷🦅 (Return of the House of Bonaparte)
@@christophermichaelclarence6003 yeah lmao

French National Anthem "La Marseillaise"
Original version
Allons enfants de la Patrie
Le Jour de Gloire est arrivé
Contre nous de la Tyrannie
L'étendard sanglant élevé
L'étendard sanglant élevé
Entendez vous dans les campagnes
Mugir ces féroces soldats
Ils viennent jusqu'au dans vos bras
Égorger vos fils et vos campagnes
Aux armes citoyens !
Formez vos bataillons !
Marchons Marchons !
Qu'un Sang Impure !
Abreuves nos sillons !
English version
Lets go children of the Fatherland/Motherland
The Day of Glory has arrived
Against us Tyranny's
Bloody banner is raised
The Bloody banner is raised
Do you hear in the countryside
The Roar of those ferocious soldiers
They're coming right into your arms
To cut the throats of your sons and your wives
Arms Citizens !
Form your batallions !
Let's march, let's march !
An impure blood !
Soak our furrows !
Really pompeous and thrilling anthem when it comes facing and standing against Tyranny.
Fight for your Freedom !
Our French motto : Liberty Equality and Fraternity !
Long live the 5th Republic !
Vive la France ! And the rest of the World !

"QU'UN SANG IMPUR
ABREUVE NOS SILLONS "
Sang Impure ➡️ Impur Blood
It means us People's blood (poors, low class, peasants, homeless)
Pure Blood (rich, wealthy people, celebraties, actors...)
@Christophe Michael Clarence
No Sir. It's about the traitors' blood. The noblemen who left France and came back with their Austrian and Prussian mercenaries.
@@bernardwastiaux1920 That's also partly wrong; it's about the blood of france's enemies. By looking at sentences from people of that time using "sang impur", you can see the meaning:
November 1792, Marat: "I demonstrated the necessity the necessity of shedding a few drops of impure blood to avoid shedding very pure streams of it, that is to say crushing the main counter-revolutionaries to save the fatherland"
1789, Napoléon Bonaparte, in a letter to his brother: "Throughout France blood has flowed but almost everywhere it has been the impure blood of the enemies of Liberty, of the Nation and who have long been fattening at their expense."
Also, in the very first version of the Marseillaise, from May 1792, it was "que tout *leur* sang abreuve nos sillons" referring to "les complices de Bouillé" (so the people who tried to get Louis XVI out of france) earlier in the song. Therefore in that regard you're right; it's against traitors too

Third French Republic was born from a defeat against Germany and disappeared following a defeat against Germany
Sad to say this would be the last good republic in France
Is so calming
