Picked a Crocea up from John Bui of Clam Mania at Reefstock and it attached in a matter of a few hours. Slightly smaller than the one he grabbed out of the water at 9:50 I highly recommend trying a clam. If you do, Clam Mania has great stock!
Maybe I'm lucky or..... I'm new to hobby!!! 4 months. I have a 22 gallon AIO with 2 clowns, 2 Duncan's and a maxima clam. He, the clam, has a personality. Go figure, of all things! He has moved himself. I placed him on a flat and wasn't happy with spot and moved himself and fell over numerous times. He's now in a good spot but has since started turning. He's doing great tho. Mantle looks healthy! I do bi-weekly water changes of 1.5 gallons using nutrisea box saltwater. I use tap water treated with prime water conditioner for ATO Your typical AIO filtration setup. Water is crystal clear I feed pellets and dried mysis daily.
Thanks John! Going to pick one up from you soon!
Excellent video definitely will give having a clam some more thought
