I don’t like my plants to touch either. Lol. And my husband just asked me to talk to his teachers at an Inservice about how plants help us be healthier. That seems like a good time to give away the plants that don’t do it for me anymore.
I love rearranging when I haven't been feeling it. And it looks great. I do that a lot in my plant room especially in winter as the lighting changes. And definitely no shame in getting rid of plants that aren't doing it for you any more. The whole point of the plant journey is enjoyment so if that's not happening it's ok to say goodbye.
Appreciate you and the real sharing. I just threw out some plants that had been dying and they just stressed me out. I am trying really hard not to feel guilty about it and your video really helped. Thank you for sharing and being honest.
Ooo I just started the video and I am so excited to see where you put everything! I feel like I need to rearrange my plants also, lol. It’s a refreshing thing to do.
I just found your channel a few days ago (and tbh I’m basically binging your videos from here and de la creations both!) and I’m so enjoying your upbeat nature, your handiness and your authenticity. ❤❤
Quick question if you have the time. I’ve just started collecting and I have a particular fondness for Hoya. I’m wondering if sulfur is ok to use preventatively? I don’t think I have flat mites but I don’t want to get them! Thanks in advance 🪴💚🌵
He ya! Don't feel 2nd hand guilt of when a plant just dies or is on deaths door. We all go to the net to save a plant kid heck I had a plant that I gave everything to and it refused to thrive for me. I saw a succulent plant part get kicked across the floor at a Home Depot and I asked the cashier while I was checking out with my rick rack cactus's if I could take home this plant child that got hit by a cart in a drive by accident and that thing thrives for me! This other plant that basically cost me a arm and a leg and a uterus that I gave everything for failed for me terribly and broke my mind trying to figure out why. I think its a personal call when you've given up all hope on something and sometimes the strangest little weirdo of a plant sparks the most happiness.
Merry Christmas and Happiest of holidays! I love a good re arrange! I'm currently gearing up the energy to do this as well ...ugghh so much work but I know the reward waiting!😊
I rearranged some plants recently, but I really need to do a plant room overhaul in the spring. I really want the Ikea shelves to replace one section of my room!
I am so glad you mentioned not letting your plants touch. This has way more to do with proper care than it does with just not looking crowded/messy. Plants need good air flow to prevent fungal/bacterial disease and with pots/plants not touching, it helps to contain the rapid spread of plant pests.

Reinventing your space is a great way to re-energize your mental health. Thanks for sharing.
Absolutely!!! 🥰
Does anyone know if there is a website that is dedicated for selling houseplants? Like an eBay but for plants?
It gives you the chance to check on your plants too. Check for bugs and the general health of it all.
Very true!!
You’re such a comfort youtuber for me! I enjoy watching your videos so much
Aww!!! Makes me so happy to hear that :’)

I read your book, it was very good and informative, especially which plants are bad for pets.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for reading.

What brand of sulfur are you using? I’m scared to buy the wrong thing.
Bonide!
Do you recommend those headphones?? They look cute and I’ve been looking for some like that that aren’t a million dollars 😂
Definitely recommend them! I’ve had them for I think 3-4 years and use them weekly and they’re still amazing 🙌🏼
@@BeccaDeLaPlants awesome thank you!! 🥰
Hi Becca! Love the video. I would love to see an update on your plants on planks. Also, maybe a flat mite how to?

I know you’ve posted it before, but how do you treat flat mites? I don’t know if I have any but I have quite a few Hoya. I want to be proactive.
I think sulfur!!
Have you seen a noticeable difference in your Hoya since using sulfur on them ? 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄❄️💚🙃

I showed it in this video briefly, but I spray them with a sulfur + water mixture! It has helped tremendously
