Am I the only one who thinks that John was a so much better guitarist 10 years ago? :/ I mean he was obviously a better singer, but he had this voice problem, so it is not his fault that he doesn't have that good voice nowdays, but his guitar playing sometimes is really unpunctual. For years he has been using the same scale on the second solo of this track and I am pretty disappointed that he seemingly never changes his ideas...it seems that he has lost something...like he does not care much... Don't blame me, I am a big one of him.
Nah i think he is defenetly getting better at playing guitar. I mean can play more different styles now. And i also think that his voice is actually better now. I mean he hits the notes much better than back then, and i also like that he has more power in his voice now .... Just my opinion
Szabolcs Peták i dont necessarily agreed with you but i do see what you mean. You are right he seems to have toned it down by a good amount even now on the search for everything tour but there still is a certain charm and technique and technicality about it that's un matched
