The "Dutchman" said the entrance was in the shadow of Weavers Needle at 4:00 o' clock. He never said what day or which cardinal point. Figure those 2 things out and you might have a small chance!
Thanks for doing this video. I live in Coolidge, AZ and I have been out that way many times seeing it many times from afar. But the hike out there to get close is very rugged and too much for me. So your efforts are very much appreciated.
I have been out to the Peralta trail to do some photography when there are some unusual atmospheric conditions happening. It's beautiful. But I don't go very far because it gets too rugged.
Possibly. People do rock climb to the top and camp out up there, which is wild. Some people have great videos of this here in YT. (Jerry Arizona is a good one to check out)
I enjoyed the video journey. Hiking to and around the needle looks easy from the air but it is not. I did manage to get to the base on the east side.It did not take as long as i thought. It was rough and a bit frightening at times. Thank you for sharing this view from above.
StellarChi Nah. Just the ones that know it’s not legal to fly in that area. As far as “skill” goes, he just has a nice drone. The panning and tilting is mediocre at best.
Great view.. did ya know that flying there that low is against the law . I think 3000 ft AGL is the minimum in National Wilderness areas..unless you received some type of flight waiver.

Love it. Incredible views and the soundtrack was perfect.
Amazing capture! Peralta trail is my favorite and it feels so good to see how it looks from above! Thanks for sharing your work!

Excellent video from the air nice job.
People have climbed to the top and walked around up there. Nice video. Never saw it from this angle before.
It is wonderful and thrilling to see the formations from these angles. Thank you
@5:01 There looks to be some man-made rings of rocks on top of the needle? Great video. Thanks!

Thanks Phil. Yes, that is some brutally difficult terrain. Hiking off trail is painfully slow and dangerous.
@@cvedeler Did you ever find the Lost Dutchman? The mine is rumored to be located within the Needle.

7 folks just don't get how well done this is ! Skills ! Bravo !

Great video, thank you.
Awesome, thank you for this!
Wow!!!!!!! Spectacular, is it possible to make it to the summit???
Yes. It is a technical climb (5-6 pitch I believe). I haven't been to the top but many people have.
Very cool
Wwaaww!!!! no m canso de ver estos videos
thats pretty cool? I just did that too but you went way further than me.. Now i want to go back and do it again
That is some crazy, rugged ground/rock formations. Awesome footage. John from New Zealand :)

Thanks! Actually it is against the law to fly a drone that high. 400 ft AGL is the general rule. I probably did go above that in places. My bad.
Shut the F up!!
Spectacular.
Thanks Joshua!
Noisy-ass drones aren't allowed in Forest Service wilderness areas
Pre Flood Silicon Trees /Mesas that were cut down just like Devils Tower Wyoming and the Scablands.
Nice footage. Have you ever been to the top of Weavers Needle?
Thanks Troy. I never have, but it is on my bucket list.
At 5:01 there are two clearly man made structures on the top of the Needle. Anyone know what they could be about (don't bother guessing)?
They are cycles of rocks for people who climb up there and camp overnight.
it looks like a moldy old giant treestump from a family tree
No wonder they never found the gold.
At 6.23 you can see gold on the ground looks like a cash of high grade oar
Petrified giant trees all mountains and hills are giant petrified tree stumps wich means the whole earth grew it was organic
