Have to comment on Mr.Matheson’s performance and portrayal of Drew Cain. Nothing at all against Billy Miller, who I miss greatly in this role, but Mathewson steps in nicely, adding an extra layer of warmth and kindness to the role. And he works well with the others actors, especially Monica, Sonny and Carly. 👍🏻👍🏻
I agree. Billy did well as the drew Cain transitioning out of Jason. With Matheson, I feel like we're getting a Drew Cain he was meant to be, the drew that Franco knew when they were young
Warm, kind, honest, humble, gentle, but also strong, etc. All these qualities are coming through. It's a man who has gone through many struggles personally and professionally. But also believable as a man who fought for his country and has demons to fight or insecurities to battle
William Wygle I didn’t really like Billy Miller’s Drew except during the Oscars death story I very much prefer Cameron Mathesons portrayal after the short time he’s been on and Billy Miller always seemed like he was jealous of Steve Burton
Carly embracing Drew was everything. Shows that she still considers him a part of her life. From his days as Jake Doe. That hug was everything. Sonny introducing Drew to Donna as Uncle Drew is beautiful. Drew was there for them at their worst times in their life. Even if at the time he was “Jason”. It was Drew himself going in to try and find Morgan. Keeping Michael safe and sane. Saving Sonny as Jake Doe. Protecting Carly and Sam. Drew was himself with no memory. I’m glad he’s back. Wish Jason and him were together.

First Jason was gone for five years (and meanwhile I came to town believing I was him), then he came back, and at first I resented him but we began to bond, then I disappeared, then I finally managed to make contact after two years, he comes to rescue me, we bonded some more while we both were locked in the wine cellar, and then as we were escaping, the tunnel collapsed and now he's gone AGAIN! I guess we were never meant to have a normal relationship as brothers. Plus I know how close you were with him.

I think the door is ajar for him to come back if he either gets vaccinated, or they modify or lift the mandate. I can definitely envision him returning at some point. Now Jax I don't see ever coming back, at least not with Ingo in the role. He burned a lot of bridges on his way out.

I don’t think he’s leaving Kristina out I think he was just acknowledging the younger kids because of the years he was gone. Josslyn was a teenager in high school and now she’s in college. Donna wasn’t even born yet and Avery was so little.

I really like they brought Drew back. While I adored Billy Miller, I always got the vibe that he didn't gel with certain actors and so his scenes always stood out to me. However, I was sad to see the character go. I am so glad they brought him back and with Cameron too. I have adored him as an actors since his AMC days and enjoy all his other projects. While I miss Steve and love Jason, I get both sides of the situation. I commend Steve for sticking up for his beliefs, however I also commend the network for thinking about other cast members. Many GH vets are older and some have conditions that leave them immunocomprimised and at risk. I feel that the network did what was best for the show and its actors as a whole. Steve choosing not to be vaccinated is his right but the network just didn't want to put the other actors at risk for it. While he may be gone, the character has not been recast, which means the show has left the door open for his return someday.
Michael, Willow, and Wiley are in NY for pleasure so Sonnie and Carly decided to not tell them until they are back. They don't want to spoil their family time, which is very considerate.
