Typically a 60" x 84" is more than enough, we do have a great video tutorial on measuring your vehicle for wraps here: www.rvinyl.com/How-to-Measure-Your-Vehicle-for-Wraps
If you mean the ambient temperature it just makes working with the film much harder. If you mean overheating it whit a heat gun during application, it could change its appearance, cause premature adhesive failure or even actually burn!
It may be because some people are doing it themselves and end up doing a bad job and could be blaming the Rvinyl. Maybe some wraps are better than others.
Actually, you do! We sell the film but not the skills to install it. Give someone a canvas and some paint doesn't make them Van Gogh! Seriously, we have a detailed video on the how to wrap your calipers. We recommend you check it out and if its something you think you can handle, then you should go with it. If not, I would skip it.
@@Rvinyl 😆 that's correct 👌 wrap skill needs experience, patience and tips and tricks and depending on material such as matte or gloss or satin or 5D or chrome... I was doing it for almost 4 years ( only summer since Quebec is freezing cold in winter, and only in my weekends off ) 🙃
Which color and brand of hood wrap would you use?
That’s pretty cool maybe I should look at doing that vinyl. I wonder how many rolls I would mess up before getting it right lol
Hoods are probably the best starting point. We have full faith in you and your abilities!
Great tutorial thank you.....
How big of a size did you need for the hood I have a 2015 Wrx trying to figure out what size to go with

What happens if it’s too hot when you install your film?

I was going to buy some break caliper wrap but your reviews are rough. Why are there so many bad reviews?

It's also a good idea not to wear jewelry while applying film.
