I had low expectations when I saw reptile on the wheel, but that deck was really cool!
Love to see Ruxin learn an off-meta deck and actually understand how to play it
Mr. Farfa, a second Chimeratech has hit the field.
The purpose of the future fusion is to be able to send all the machina stuff to the grave (and Jinzo / returner if playing) and go for game before future fusion resolves 😂 or follow up with an overload after dumping all into the grave
Even playing Cyber Twin Dragon and Cyber End Dragon in the extra deck could be good option if you don’t have the overload yet.
I feel like the 100lp cost on messenger of peace is NOT there to actually be a cost, rather it's there so you can turn it off whenever you want

Ruxin is the master of the aliens. He wants you to take him to your leader so he can place counters on all of them. The leader will find out what happens later

I would've never thought reptiles would be able to go head to head with Edison machines, lol... To be fair, it's filled with floodgates, but still.
Also, future fusion has been errated so many times, it's hard to keep track of what it does lol.
funny video the gravity bind almost took away the fun of it but I think ruxin and farfa's slight misplays and laughing about it was entertaining. I did not know reptiles was this competent in edison even with the floodgates carrying them, it's nice to see aliens get a spotlight in series other than jank
Reptiles was an insane deck in duel links. Machines were definitely the favourites here but ruxin played way better than expected.

Instead of clicking the Card and then clicking the "✅️ Confirm" you can just Double-Click a card to activate its effect or confirm the chosen card. Right Click is also used to cancel or exit prompts.

Happy to see the Aliens. That was the first proper deck I played when I started playing Yugioh as a kid. It's definitely my favorite Edison deck.
Golgar is such a cool card. It’s a shame Aliens weren’t that good.
Aliens were perfectly playable this format. Planet Pollutant virus, offering to the snake deity and alien brain are all great traps, code A ancient ruins lets you win any grind game and you saw how good Gol'gar was. Against a fast deck aliens struggle but as soon as they can slow the game tempo they'll control any matchup.
Ruxin has lived long enough to become the villain he once despised - floodgates. But it was pretty funny. You need to have rhymestyle react to this video
Rhyme only gets upset when people use the floods as a crutch with no substance on it using it for a reason is ok he'd be annoyed getting caught in the loop but it progresses as part of the strategy
@ fair enough. I just remember in wheeled goat Ruxin made the rhymestyle rule due to the floodgates 😂

I guess Farfa now knows that future fusion and Overdragon out itself well you always wait for Overload Fusion before doing that and while you're opponent is laughing at your misplay you activate the Overload Fusion and Summon a second one that wont blow up🤔
Farfa, one of the best meta players on the planet....just made the Future Fusion mistake in the year of our lord 2025. Pure Tragicomedy.

At around 35:40 wouldn't it be better to"juggle" a-counter to not only summon Alien overlord, but also another alien from the grave, while also destroying with cosmic fortress?
Bounce the three spell/traps,(3 a-counter) activate alien overlord to summon (1 a-counter) and then spread 3 a counter on the opponents monster(4 a-counterr).
Activate ancient ruins to remove 2 counter and special summon an alien from grave and use the last two counter to destroy a monster.
You could have also first set ruins to boucne 4 and if I remember correctly from trying out aliens, Cosmic fortress isn't a hard once per turn just like ancient ruins special summon effect isn't one either.
I love to watch these old format yugioh duels even though I don't play yugioh

Future fusion + Overload fusion + 2 copies of the overdragon, 20 plus monsters for 16k. there was a magic card to tribute a machine and take half its attack out of the opponent's life points, so can be/has been a first turn 3 card combo. nice try tho 😂 loved the duels, a bit evil tho

this was a fun deck to build and it was super fun watching the match
i understand that floodgate are part of the strat but it doesnt respect the singleton rule. I think it might be unfair. Also, they have a chickolates mate base in the masterduel store. You should grab it!

Also Konami, please, I beg you, reprint the Alien stuff, Gol'Garshould not be nearly 20 bucks for a good condition card. That deck shouldn't be as expensive as it is.

@ It was crazy when I went to build it for my locals Edison. Gol Gar was like 17 for a good condition card, *Warrior* as like 3 or 4 bucks, Mysterious Ruins was 5. Just weirdly expensive for a rogue Edison deck.
Then again I should be thankful they aren't as bad as Amarylis.

Btw the reason why field blew up is because when it's summoned it destroys everything on the field and when future fusion is destroyed it destroysthe summoned monster

Used to smack Blackwing players around with Golgar, loved this deck was my first competitive deck I played with back in the day although I ran a different core, loved my alien deck with white sleeves ayye!!! ❤

Aliens legit also steal games. Like as someone that played aliens, you win game 1 way more than you should simply by waiting for them to declare an attack and calling a judge if you really want to. That's why on DL they were easy to get to KoG with.

Why would anyone play DNA Surgery? The decks are all monotype and you don’t know what your opponent is playing until you queue up in the duel.

But yeah the point is to send all the materials to the grave with Future and then overload fusion I’m pretty sure. I just remember Cimo playing the deck in Jank and blowing himself up too lol.

I don't care what everyone says, I think floodgate gameplay is perfectly fine and fun to watch. It's a matter of skill and if anyone says differently then they're self reporting that they can't out one piece of backrow.
My main problem with them is they don’t make for very enjoyable content MOST of the time. But in this case I thought the deck was cool with them haha
@Ruxin34 Oh it was very cool, and I personally think it's always fun. Yugioh was always meant to be slower and more methodical, not this crazy speed we got these days.
