Mercedes Benz models which year number is eailer than 2011, normally equipped with NTG4.0 system.

Can you make a video with full Android related features? Is there Android Auto feature or just screen mirroring (with phone controlled by car's knobs and buttons or not?)
Here the Android auto was blocked, so unable to make a video on real car. We will try to do it on our testing bench when VPN is good. Anyway, all android auto and mirroring functions are working, and also can use original car knobs to control.
@@Kremersino Also interested in Android Auto. It works the same as Carplay, but only wired? The interface looks amazing, but I'm an android user so only really interested if there is actual Android Auto support. Also, does the box itself support Bluetooth Audio? Right now I use my AUX with a bluetooth adapter and I'd like to keep Bluetooth audio even when not using Android Auto.
here unable to take video on that as Android auto is totally blocked here in China. Our customer had shooted some videos on using android on youtube too,
@@RCrescente yes, it is also support real Android auto but wired. Carplay/Android sound channels are from original car AUX. So it will not use original bluetooth channel. You can still use bluetooth audio at original car interface

hello original cd changer and memory card functions do not works in carplay features. you can still use those functions in original system, but in retrofit system, carplay /android auto, mirroring, usb music, usb video support only

Why do we need to turn on audio aux? Does sound go through analog aux or digital interface? I have Harman Kardon package and I don't want to lose sound quality.
yes, go through AUX. our unit equipped with DSP chip, which offer best audio quality. have no lose at sound quality at all. Some car model with poor audio system before, after install the unit, can even improve sound quality

I installed it on my W204 with NTG 4.5 and Audio20 but have issues:
1. Apple Carplay won’t connect wirelessly but no issue for Carplay with usb cable
2. Reverse camera not showing dynamic line although setup already select Aftermarket camera and CAN
Why?

Is it able to download spotify and does it loose sound quality? Is the original mercedes menu still available? Dos the screen still pop up? Can u use it without your phone nearby? hi carplay and android auto function are works by following your mobile. it means mirror is from the phone screen, spotify is your mobile application,we are use car original auxiliary input so sound quality is good. yes you can easy to switch between original merceds menu and retrofit system by press car buttons. screen works like normal in orginal system. all the functions are from mobile so do not support to use carplay without phone nearby. but you can use usb music and usb video function without mobile nearby.
simply understood is operation your mobile by car buttons directly

Just got some trouble during Installation because I have the Audio20 Headunit and only the Command Variant is able to pass an Audio Signal through the quadlock connector at the Back. Therefore I Had to lay an aux cable from the Multimedia Port in my middle console arm wrest to the kremersino cable harness.

How do you route a USB cable to allow for Android Auto wired connection?
there is USB cable from carplay box harness, then you can connect it with phone USB cable

TheManPedal you can put it in the glovebox or in the cup holder area. You just gotta get creative and remove more interior trims. Make sure none of the wires pinch
