You said everything I was thinking, this season really took it to the next level (an unexpected level). They were on some “Queen of the South” vibes! 💜 this dark season & your eyeshadow! The trafficking storyline was riveting & scary. I wanted to know more about how much KB’s dad knew. Lisbeth was the ultimate villain!
Loved the review, and totally agree about the lack of balance with the teen drama, and just about everything you said! I'll be honest, I didn't pay attention at all to the storyline with tahira or reece lol. I would zone out and be looking at my phone so I couldn't tell you about the little details. But wow, the Puleng and Fiks storylines were so deep and intense, I was stressed from beginning to end! Overall, such a great season and they handled such a scary but very real issue of human and sex trafficking well. I hope we get a season 4, to see how Puleng processes what happened to her and how the overall trafficking storyline unfolds. SO happy that detective got caught at the end and Lisbeth got taken down but just the tip of the iceberg. Chris and Wendy man...hate them lol, she can do so much better, and I don't understand why they dragged that out all season. Wade...I appreciate how he gracefully bowed out and realized that him and Puleng were better off as friends. So many shows would have dragged that out another season or two lol. Still like his character, just not as Puleng's boyfriend! KB, BLESS HIM, he's pretty slow lol.
That’s a really interesting direction that season 4 could go in, hopefully the show gets another season, it’s been trending in Netflix’s top 10 all over the world!
I cant stand Reece and Chris as characters anyway so when we got this EXTRA storyline with Tahira, it felt like even more of a waste of time. It becomes a tonal issue when we go from the deep captivating main plotline to these kids throwing a party every 5 minutes
The outlandish nature of the storylines in this show are constantly unexpected and the writers love making the audience uneasy. Never a dull moment, suspension of disbelief is key. Like you said, this show goes far beyond the usual teen/ adolescent drama shows would do. Thanks for posting.
just finished season 3 and rannn to this video, honestly i loved it however i feel really sick to my stomach just seeing the human trafficking stuff because this is what a small taste of what happens everyday and not everybody is as lucky to escape :( but on a lighter note this is my first video ive seen of u and ur amazing!!! bout to watch ur wednesday video now hehe!
In season 4 I believe KB’s mom will break out of prison or have someone break her out, there may even be a couple of prison scenes, Puleng will go after her for her father’s death, Fiks biological father will get back with Puleng’s mom and Puleng and Fiks may have some tension about it as Puleng may feel replaced and so will Puleng’s brother. Chris will probably start a relationship with Puleng’s cousin behind Wendy’s back. Sam may end up having a child with Fiks and Lisbeth may take the baby. Wade will realize he is a rebound for Puleng, Puleng still likes KB in my option. Wade’s mom is going to get her way with the people that had her lose her job. I can’t wait until season 4.
You know something that really pissed me off about KB? His mum RIGHT in front of him said to Puleng in the most blatently omnious way: "drive safely", hours before they got in an accident and her dad died!!! HOW DID HE NOT QUESTION THAT?! He was such a whiny bitch imo and easily bought too - most selfish character yet behind Chris
I did not mind reece story line but her apologizing to tahira in the end completely annoyed me ,but this season made tahira very disliked and Chris was bearable

Thabang (KB) looks so old like he should be in college. KB is also such a himbo! Idk if it was just me but it seemed like Fiks wasn't really in this season as much. Maybe that was intentional. I'd be fine if this season is the last but I'd not complain if there's another season

If they get renewed for another season cool, I would prefer it to be the final season. If not ok but still if they didn't bait this would be a perfect ending
