Joel is a brilliant and cultivated man, and his photography reflects that.
....all this wisdom came, bit by bit, photo by photo after 50 years of taking photos with a "Meyerowitz" eye and "Meyerowitz" awareness and is expressed thanks to a "Meyerowitz" gift for gab...Bravo Joel Meyerowitz!
Thank you all so much for watching the show and for your commments. As ever, I’m so inspired and lifted just talking to Joel. As he says ...play with your photography during these times and show us what you are up to. Load your images to our site photostream with the tag #JOEL1

Really uplifting. I uploaded my photographs to "Inside Stories" this morning and am now watching a few videos on Joel Meyerowitz while working in the kitchen. What a sweet human.
Thanks so much Sophie for leaving such a lovely message. Glad you have joined in on Inside Stories too - best Chris
Many thanks. A great man. I love when he says to play like a child, without thinking about our appearance.
Thanks so much for joining in ...Picasso once said: "It took me four years to paint like Raphael, but a lifetime to paint like a child"
cette master classe est vraiment passionnante avec ce merveilleux photographe qu'est JOEL MEYEROWITZ . Un grand merci à Laurent Breillat de nous l'avoir proposé avec les sous titres en Français , je pense en avoir beaucoup appris
Thanks for this video. Joel is such a young boy in an old man´s body...it´s fascinating!
Meyerowitz is one of my favorite people to listen to, so poetic about the art of photography. Thanks for this interview.
I love you Joel Meyorwitz. Such beautiful, simple, open down-to -earth responses. I love the reference to Covid-19 as “a pause”. I wrote down every recommendation, from printer, to 35mm Leica, to the two books. (I’ll add that Ovid’s “Metamorphosis “ was a primary source for virtually every artist, right through at least the Renaissance. You can read one paragraph and get ideas.)
Had no idea that he wakes and bakes! It makes even more sense why I connect with him!
Thank you so much, it's a eye opener for me.
Thank you very much. It was great to see and hear Joel! I am very pleased.

Fantastic 👍😎
Glad I stumbled on this - Lots of wisdom and experience here and he always talks about the real important stuff - the creative process.
I’m inclined to agree with the whole street photography thing becoming very generic, derivative or formulaic these days, which is why I’ve become more interested in other kinds of subject matter.
Great video thanks for uploading.
Thanks ...glad you stumbled on our show too...thanks for commenting ....hope our show has helped you with a little inspiration ..for whatever subject matter you've moved on to now. - Chris

En espérant que tu nous donneras l'occasion de bénéficier d'autres master class aussi passionantes.
c'est clair, merci à lui et bonne soirée
Thank you, Gentleman, for this conversation. A privilege for me to be part of that through hearing it. I enjoy for the next one and hope that people will leave their fear away as they walk in the street again. Keep safe and take care (from Switzerland)!

8:23 is no one going to talk about that itty bitty bong? 🤣
Nah, it’s legal now. It’s like having a wine glass out, no biggie.
What's your most important, informative, photography book you have at the bookstores. I find you very interesting, informative, and inspiring. I just hope I can find one of your books at the halfprice Bookstore here in Oklahoma. I'd be thrilled to death . James Butler, Ok
Hi Joel , Street photography was might have been easier even 10 years ago. Today there are so many regulations, especially in the most developed countries ... What is your advice, if you still want take pictures about people on the street? Cheers, from Budapest, Hungary
Peter I'll pass this question on to Joel.... ..best Chris
Well, in America you can photograph anyone in the street. It’s protected by the first amendment.
