Everyday 🍏 ~~ Gotta question.. I don't care about keeping any of my data.. but I went through all of the steps to deactivate my account about 43 days ago. I checked at day 35 and my account is still as active as ever. I've seen notices next to some people I used to follow that says [Deactivated] or something like that.. next to their name.. but I never got one of those notices. The ONLY thing I can think is that a friend sent me a text that had a news article link on it when I was around day 27 of my 30 day wait.. I opened their link not realizing it was an article on Twitter. 😫 Do you think that just by opening that article, my 30 days of not going on there was disrupted? I immediately backed out, but I'm still wondering if it screwed up my 30 days of steering clear of the place? Thanks! (And I'm going over there now to try again with your instructions)
Part II (sorry)... I just tried to deactivate the account and it's telling me that my password has changed. What!?! 😣 If you drop in.. do I need to create a new password to get out? I have "Hotel California" 🎵 running thru my head.. _You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave!_
This is a very interesting case and it makes me want to look into how Twitter handles this. I’ll dig around and see what I can find out! In the meantime if you learn anything new go ahead and post it here!
