- See how the stomata, spongy mesophyll and palisade mesophyll are involved in gas exchange in plants. Learn the adaptations plants have, particularly in xerophytes, to limit water loss by evaporation during gas exchange.

i really appreciate these videos
You're welcome. Glad you like them! :D
likely we have had this topic this morning . Thank you it was good .
Glad you liked it 😊
I don't think you mentioned it, but can you explain the role of Potassium Ions in opening and closing the Guard Cells.
Hello,
They lower the water potential so that water enters the guard cells by osmosis making the cells turgid, so they bend and the stomata open.

I am in 10 but can understand this easily .Doubt-if a variation arises in a population such that some organism are of different colour than their parent generation. Now,my question is - can they interbreed (i mean parent population with some different colour and their progeny having different colour can interbreed or not please give reason)
Thanks
Hello,
It would depend on whether the variation affected reproduction or not.
Why do plants have air spaces
to allow air (O2 and CO2) to move inside the leaf of a plant
Could you please explain why humidity reduces water potential in plants? Thanks in advance.
If its humid surrounding the plant that means there is moist air outside, which means a less negative water potential. This decreases the water potential gradient between inside and outside of the plant
You forgot the music at the end😢
ah yeah I left it off a few as I thought it annoyed people. But I was wrong so brought it back!!
hi lol
