Agree with everyone. Have been a fan for quite a while and as a BMW man, precious car I sold 9 months ago was an X5M 18 months old and stepped into a new X3M Comp. I totally love your 7 series and always look forward to your new stuff. Well done on the landmark and onwards and upwards...

Always puzzled me as to why when soft close doors are fitted, why the boot closes with the crash of a battering ram. Gorgeous car though

I’d have the mirrors the same colour as the car. I only like carbon fibre when it’s used in interior but that’s my opinion. Congrats on 100k + Joe well deserved just keep the same formula on your videos and u be hitting 500k .👏

The
daytime running light looks so much better and they upgrade the look of the whole car. Spending so much money on a car and then you save money on wrong places.

Lovely Blue Beemer, not a lot more to say you haven`t already said Joe so we will just have to wait till you get it out on the road maybe even off road if they will let you, just a thought!!!!
I hate to say it but the styling of the BMW SUV's, especially the M variants, are getting better. The wide stance, short overhangs and surface details make for a taught, ready to pounce look. They look less ponderous and heavy, at least visually. They're still hippos though.
This is hands down without a doubt the best looking and best sounding SUV today. I also believe it is one of the fastest if not the fastest SUV's since a test pilot got 0-62 mph in 3.3 seconds!
Too bad Joe you don’t come to the states as I will let you drive the X5M comp back to back with our X3M comp and M8 comp ;)

Hi Joe, great video as usual. Liked, and agree with what you say about the M5 Competition, as we own one, and, it is quite frankly, irreplaceable imho. But love the new X5M too. I know you will agree with me here, in that probably the most disappointing thing about it, is the noise, with the OPFs fitted ?. This machine would be the absolute bomb with them removed, but would need a remap to do so, and you know what that means ?, kindest regards, Simon.
I love the x6m competition more though it's about as practical as wearing sneakers at the beach

No pan roof? whoever spec’d it messed up 100% needed on 4x4s

B unfortuntley there is no carbon fibre roof option on the x5m

If I really like something I’ll usually say that it’s very good - I don’t go normally go into raptures... but this car is absolutely incredible, as well as it looking absolutely superb.

It always bothers me when the more expensive BMWs are optioned with the cheaper led headlights
Do you find BMW LED lights to be bad? I have them on my M2 and 7 and can't fault them. I had lazer lights on my older 7 and they just caused on coming traffic to constantly flash me. Most manufacturers don't even have Lazer light technology available.
Joe Achilles Not at all I was talking more about the DRLs. I completely understand how the laser lights can be annoying.
Does anyone know how much weight the lower tailgate can take? Can two people sit on it?
