Unfortunately, Uni Records didn't get the original stereo master tape for "Build Me Up, Buttercup", thus forcing them to issue it in blah electronic stereo. Two years later, Eric Records, a oldies re-issue label then located in Philedelphia, got a proper true stereo master, and issued it that way as a single (the B-side, "Baby Now That I Found You" on the other hand was heard in "Balance panned electronic stereo, or "Ping Pong" Effect sound which was awful.) The stereo here is more natural sounding.
